Better Than DependsThese overnight "pull-up" diapers definitely hold more fluid than any other diaper I have found so far...and believe me, I'm pretty sure that I've tried them all. My parents (now 98 years old) have lived with me for over a decade, and I'd love to find something that would allow me to not have to launder their pajamas and bedclothes every morning. When I first began to use these diapers (around 2008), I thought that I had found utopia. The bed clothes were dry - hooray. That was my first experience with having dry bedding in years. But, more recently I am back to having to launder the bedding pretty much every morning again. I don't know whether the product changed, or perhaps my parents frequent the bathroom during the night less than in previous years. Either way, it would be nice to find something that could last thru the night without seepage onto the bedclothes. I will say that prior to finding these diapers, the bed would become thoroughly soaked and by morning everything (blankets, pads, sheets, mattress pad, pjs, etc) were sopping wet and had to be washed. So, even though the bed pad and pajamas do get wet now, the bedding is still not "as" saturated as when I have used other manufacturers' diapers, and at least for now, the saturation is primarily limited to the bed pad and pajamas - which makes it a little easier. These diapers are definitely better than Depends and they are better than Depends with a Poise liner pad added to the diaper crotch. Tranquility Overnight diapers are the best I've found so far...but I'll keep searching in hopes that I'll find something that will allow the bedding to be dry in the morning. For those of you who are still looking for solutions, I will add that I have even tried adult rubber pants (like for babies only larger). They might possibly be helpful depending on the wearer's mental capacity. Unfortunately for me, my parents would become confused either while pulling them down, or trying to pull them up after using the toilet - so they would end up back in bed with the rubber pants not correctly on them - which defeated the whole purpose. For anybody in my shoes, I wish you luck - and if you find something better, I wish you'd let me know.4These improve my quality of lifeI used to use a different overnight pull-up but they "improved" them by making them Contoured - aka SMALLER aka WORTHLESS. I was panicked because I Need overnight protection.Then I remembered Tranquility has overnight pull-ups. I already use Tranquility booster pads.These are a little more expensive but worth the price. I still put a booster pad inside because I am the Peeing Queen. HA!Tranquility products improve my Quality of Life because now I sleep at night. I'm not getting up every 20 - 60 minutes to check and change. I'm actually dreaming again and remembering dreams. My overall health is better because of the improvement in sleep.Once in a great while - I still leak but I have a pad down, just in case.I recommend Tranquility products to anyone who has Incontinence problems.5Great Solution for a Disabled Adult (nothing else worked)!I have an adult disabled family member who requires diapers when he sleeps. I tried every product available in stores, and I mean every combination of diapers and booster pads. Nothing covered the needs. I was really at wits end when I found these on Amazon and tried them out. I think we'll be ok with these finally!-They are pull-ons that are same front or back so it does not matter if they put them on backwards, not that was the main problem.-Problem one with other brands was absorbancy. These have significantly more absorbent material than anything walmart or Rite-aid carry. In this case it seems to be handling the required quart or more.-Problem two with other brands was positioning. He tosses and turns and night and often other brands would shift into a useless position. He has a 34 waste and these (in S/M) seem to do a much better job-Price/Value. Given the above results and an Amazon Prime price of $0.74/diaper for the 72-pack, this is a super value!5it is the best overnight pullup diaper..for now anyway..these are a terrific! they hold so much! after reading reviews decided to try one pack, then ordered a case..my mother is progressing with altzheimers..we live together, i m her daughter and caregiver 24/7 and when she orogressed to needing diapers at night, every brand i tried leaked thru the legs and onto the disposable or washable pads i have on her bed, also of course her nightgown...these are good through the night..i do get up between 630 and 8 am to help get her out of bed onto her bedside commode -as she awakens and indicates herneed to go..ido then change the diaper or even just put her back to bed for an hr longer before actual getting up to shower, dress for the day. I wish i had these pullups when dad was alive! it was daily washing bedpads, sheets, no matter what i put on him at night.5NOT PREMIUM OVERNIGHTI have been ordering these overnight and the daytime version for 6 years. The OVERNIGHT are much more absorbent than the Daytime. This order is an extreme disappointment. They are LESS absorbent than the DAYTIME version. these must be a cheap knockoff from China. Recently while waiting for a new shipment of Tranquility briefs, she had to use nighttime Depends. Besides being much less absorbent, according to Mother the Depends don't "stay put" nearly as well when she sits and stands. What a pleasure to eliminate one of the many frustrations of aging.5Healthy skin happy me!OK, let s face it... nothing works. However, these with 2 tranquility booster pads and a washable bed pad work for me. Keeps me mostly dry and no need to change sheets other than scheduled weekly washing. I have MS and need 12-14 hours of coverage at night. I hydrate a lot!Still looking for overnights that don t require pads but relieved these works. Healthy skin happy me.UPDATE 11/1/19 I recently read that doubling up the underwear would keep me dry all night and I did. No more pads that stay wet and rub on my skin. I ve actually woken up and dry in sensitive areas for two mornings now and this is huge. Just be sure if you do this to make some slits in the plastic on the one that goes inside the other.4Great product the works!!My 94 year old mother uses these pads now. I have tried 3 other brands at the highest rated absorbency (Depends, Poise & Serenity) and these Tranquility is superior. Prior to Tranquility, every morning there was leakage on her bed pad. Since Tranquility, there have been NO leakages...it's amazing really because she has frequent occurrences. Definitely a repurchase.5Do not have enough absorbancy front to back for side ...Do not have enough absorbancy front to back for side sleepers to keep the bed dry overnight. The back area will often be dry and the bed ends up being wet. Tranquility claims to hold 34 oz for the medium size and I did a test and anything over 24 oz some will leak out. In order to reach the 34 oz the wearer would have to dribble out the last 10 oz and not have a real-life bladder release. I doubt anyone could get 8 hours out of these. The pad does come up high enough in back to provide fecal protection.3More than a year and still wins approval from dadAfter trying a multitude of disposable pull-up underwear for my dad, this one has received the least (very, very few) complaints from him (no disposable underwear will be perfect). It holds a large amount of urine and also has even protected his clothing from rare bowel incontinence. The gathers around the waist/hips hold them in position even when saturated. The leg gathers do not pinch him. They do not stick to his skin like other brands do.The only suggestion I would have is to have the peach liner change color when it is wet because it is so absorbent, it is hard to tell if it is wet with smaller amounts of urine.Dad has been using these for more than a year now and I don't even consider buying anything else. He can tell immediately if the girls at the home forget he has his own and use one of their house-supplied pull-ups.5
