Uncomfortable/allergic reactionI usually don t write reviews but I felt it was necessary for this one. I m a petite girl with short legs so I used the size chart provided to try and find a size that would fit me. Nope, way too small and way too short. It took me 30 minutes to put them on. I wore them for 12 hours. The feet part of them was probably the most painful around the ankles. But that s all not as bad as what happened around my thighs. The entire day I had to keep pulling them up trying to keep them on my thighs. When I got home I couldn t wait to take them off, and, when I did... the rubber part of the thigh area had given me a severe reaction. It was burning like fire and was so swollen and red. I do not have an allergy to latex, I wear latex gloves everyday. Reading some other reviews I saw that I m not the only one who experienced this. Bottom line, get a size bigger if you re going to buy and definitely don t buy if you have any history of being sensitive toward any materials. 2Great for varicose veins! Especially if you stand alot!I've already had surgery on my varicose veins so trying to avoid further surgery. These are great! VERY TIGHT at first but they relax over time. I found the best way to get them on is just work them up your legs, pulling from the top. Also I lay back on my bed to avoid back injury! For a tall woman ,5'8", 140lbs., the medium were a bit too tight on upper thigh, so I just didn't pull them up quite so far at first. Also I've found in the past that over time when they loosen up. They'll stay up better if you apply moisturizing lotion to your legs right after showering. 5Excellent fit, not all too difficult to don and ...Excellent fit, not all too difficult to don and my bulging veracious veins disappeared. I was surprised (and impressed) the stockings were made/shaped to replicate the outline of the thigh, calf and heal. The open toe also allowed me wearing my Oofos restorative sandals. The wife didn't even notice I was wearing them, with shorts, the entire day. 4Nice materialNice material, not too tight, only thing i dislike is the open toe, seems to put more pressure on the feet but overall good product 5These stockings really work!The graduated support is so good. They are very comfortable and stay up well. I wear these stockings every day. They are well made and durable. Amazing how my legs feel while I'm wearing them, and , more importantly, how restful my sleep is now. Wish they were a smidge easier to put on, but that would defeat the purpose. Love them! 5Good stockingsThese are a nice thick compression stocking for an excellent price. I did not think I d like the thigh highs but after getting used to them I like them. The nurse at the doc s office gave valuable advice and that is to keep them from rolling down wear a spanx/shaper with legs over them. It works. 5Excellent Customer Service!Excellent customer service! I did not like how difficult these were to put in and I couldn t leave them on over night. The material was nice and thick, which I liked, but the band was irritating my skin. I really wanted to love these, but they weren t right for me. 3ACL recovery and long flight - no swelling!I wore these on a 7+ hour flight to Honolulu and they worked great! I was concerned about swelling as I had recent ACL surgery and they did the job and they were comfortable. I will continue to use these in the future for international flights as well. 5
