Really helped eliminate magnesium deficiency symptomsOnce my body adjusted to the magnesium, the muscle spasms are gone, I sleep better, and my moods are more even keeled. I take one a day an hour or so before bed, everyday (note - on the bottle it says to take 2 a day). If I have a particularly stressful day or if I've been particularly hard on my body, e.g. hours of yard work, etc. I take a second one to stave off muscle spasms. Over time, this supplement has really helped me get my health back on the right track (along with eating better and moving more). I plan on taking this everyday for the rest of my life as I no longer have any symptoms of magnesium deficiency thanks to this product. It is not habit forming at all, but I can definitely feel the difference when I don't take it. 5I am very pleased with Source Naturals Theanine Serene with ReloraI am very pleased with Source Naturals Theanine Serene with Relora. It is a must have for me due to a chronically painful medical condition called peripheral neuropathy. I suffered a long time with the pain because the side effects of the medications prescribed frightened me more. I do my best to steer clear of systemic drugs and use healthy foods and natural suppliments to improve my quality of life. Sadly, as the condition worsened I was forced to except my doctors urging and began taking the dreaded synthetic pill. Determined to keep the dosage low, I began looking at ways " mother nature " could help. Without getting too technical, I discovered that many of the constituents in this product worked similarly as the medication, but without the side effects. And, a bonus to my way of thinking, also aided in weight loss due to the Relora. For me this was the answer. In fact, my husband takes these now as well, not so much for pain, but it keeps him relaxed and helps him calm his mind before bed. I happily give this product five stars because it certainly makes a substantial difference in my health. 5Great for anxiety & depression!I was recommended to take this product in place of antidepressants (by a hormone specialist). I take 2 tabs before bed. This helps majorly with anxiety and depression. If I encounter a stressful situation and I haven't been taking this, I don't handle it very well: I get choked up in knots, wake up in the middle of the night with racing thoughts, have obsessive thoughts throughout the day, and feel impending doom and gloom. Every time I STOP taking this stuff, I regret it! 5Color me sereneAaaahhhh..... This product works wonders to take the edge off. I only take half the recommended dose in the morning (one pill rather than two) and find that's usually enough to quell anxiety and boost my mood for the day. If it's been a particularly stressful/challenging day with work I'll take another in the evening. I've experienced no side effects or lessening of effectiveness over time and have been taking them for 22 months. 5Fixed my mood issues and general anxiety! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!I call these my happy pills!! My doc recommended this supplement for anxiety and mood issues and it WORKS! I can tell if I forget to take it one day. I am WAY more calmer and relaxed and don't have general anxiety (still have situational anxiety about a few things but everyday anxiety GONE!) I've also struggled for many years with mood swings where some times things just set me off and I'm pissed the rest of the day and just on edge and grumpy. Have not had one day like this since I started. For the first time I forgot to take these yesterday and when I was driving I felt some road rage coming on and I was like whoa I haven't felt this way in a while and realized I forgot to take them. So I'm telling you...for anxiety and mood, they work! As for sleep...I take this during the day because it helps with my mood. I take another supplement at night with valerian and some other stuff to help me sleep along with some essential oils. So I can't attest to it helping with sleep, but if you need a mood boost...buy it!! 5Wow. Really works wonders!So I've been really trying to get my hormones/brain chemistry right for a long time and especially after my post-partum elation (yep- felt GREAT for over a year after my daughter was born in 2015) morphed into total wackiness after her 2nd birthday. I've really really hated being so up and down and having a hair trigger temper and just feeling out of control so much of the time. I would wake up feeling great one day and, totally without any change in circumstances, would feel total despair when I opened my eyes the next day. I've tried lots of herbs and they've helped a bit but not dramatically. Lithium orotate helped a bit but had weird side effects that made it not worth the small benefit I felt.Then this arrived. First off - two pills was TOO MUCH for me! I'm 5'7", around 150 lbs and I definitely felt super chill, but a little weird. I don't even know how to explain it. That was the afternoon when they arrived. The following morning, when I took my vitamin/mineral supplement, I took just one of these and now I've been doing that the last couple of days. 1 works GREAT for me! I don't feel out of it, but I'm not feeling anxious and my thoughts aren't spiraling into catastrophizing. Even things that would've totally sent me into a tailspin last week (like losing something I was working on for an hour on my computer when a page randomly timed-out) definitely got an annoyed roar and some expletives, but then I just started over. The amount of time and emotional energy I DIDN'T waste being futilely upset about it was amazing. Needless to say, I'll keep taking these every day as long as they keep working like this! Another positive: No increased appetite or puffiness (side effects of the lithium orotate for me). :D 5Great product, fantastic ingredientsThis product calms my nerves for at least 6 hours ( noticeably) I have a high stress job, and I deal with difficult people constantly. I take one right before work and I can actually complete the entire shift without losing my mind, it makes work Do-able. I no longer constantly look a the clock or want to leave early, I can finally make it through an entire shift successfully, without feeling sleepy, and somehow I'm focused. They are one of a handful of supplement companies where I trust the integrity of the product and the purity of ingredients.I've primarily used this product to treat/lessen symptoms of anxiety and panic. It doesnt fully substitute for my prescription meds but it helps reduce my reliance on them. This product, and l-theanine products in general have been the only non-perscriptions to help me. There is something about the magic combination of holy basil, relora, magnesium, and theanine (all known stress relievers), that just works!Its noteworthy to mention there are other benefits of this product. I find that I can take it with a moderate amount of caffeine in the morning to get a mild nootropic effect OR take at night to help me sleep. The most amazing thing about this supplement is that I dont need to cycle off as often as some others - roughly 1-2 days off in a row per week.Bottomline: this is a great product from a great, reputable company. As a post menopausal woman, I could fall asleep but always woke up around 3-4 a.m. and couldn't turn my brain off. I never felt refreshed. I had read that declining progesterone levels (the relaxing hormone) affected the GABA in the brain. I had tried everything - melatonin, herbs, magnesium, etc. and, still, I would wake up. I started with the recommended dosage of 2 tablets and after a week cut that back to one and I continue to sleep well overall ever since. 5
