Great alue for the price...Ilove these little reading glasses. I wear on my nose all day for reading (Cant read anything without help so recipes and box or pkg instructions But I can also look over the top to see where I am walking or to watch TV. They are made a bit cheaply but are not expensi so good for the price.5Great for computer screens at lower strengths.I like these glasses but they are not perfect for reading for long periods of time. But to be clear I liked them well enough to buy two more pairs at different strengths. I was looking for glasses to use while on the computer and my optometrist assistant informed me I would need glasses on the lower end of the scale at 1.25 or 1. I needed to try both at a low cost and these worked very well for that. I use the 1.0 for my home PC that has a larger screen and I sit further away from. I use the 1.25 for my laptop that I sit closer to. I will use the 1.25's at work while setting new PC's so I can still be able to read serial numbers and instructions and see the screen clearly. I really like that these are so portable and have a protective case and I can carry them any where. The reason they didn't get a 5 star is that they are too narrow for long term reading. it can be done but not as comfortably as wider reading glasses.4Dollar Store Quality at Inflated PriceThese used to be everywhere. They are easy to throw in a bag and didn t cost that much. I had several over the years for needlework. These Soolala glasses are similar in quality to the dollar store versions you could find a few years ago. The price is significantly higher though and the quality is no better. Supports and ear guards have fallen off and needed to be glued in place. I d find another brand/reseller for less.1Three sets of reading glasses for the price of 2.These are great reading glasses in cases that don't scratch the glasses they are in and also comes with a soft cleaning cloth for each case. I bought 3 pair so I can leave them in various places in my home and my reading glasses are always close by. Thinking about buying 3 more for the car, my purse and my office.5Lenses are extremely cheap and inaccurate at the edges.Spend the extra $3 per pair and get Able Vision. They invented these things (probably) and they are superior. Both Able Vision and Soolala are identical in all respects except one. The pocket clip will break quickly, the cases dent easily (although they do protect), I have over ten pairs of these in different mags and colors and have difficulty re inserting the glasses back in the cheap case. That having been said, I love these tube reading glasses because they are clear and portable and yes they are very durable if you baby them!. However, I will never buy this Soolala brand again because the difference between Soolala and Able Vision is that Soolala have horrible lenses (which I believe is considered the most important feature of reading glasses, ha ha). Looking out of the left or right side of these cheap glasses is COMPLETELY blurry and useless. Able Vision ( I checked all of the many pairs I own) does not have this blurring problem. Soolala gives you one very tiny field of vision which is probably at the advertised magnification but who cares, they are a pain to use as everything has to be directly in front of them to see anything. This product is a failure.2Good glasses, lousy case.The glasses themselves are made fairly well. However, if you need a good case to protect those glasses, you might want to look at something else. The case is made of some material akin to heavy tin foil. I have been carrying them in my pocket for about two weeks and the case has multiple dents and creases, just from daily use. I don't imagine that it will last for more than another month or so.3They can't be all that bad because I keep buying them to replace the ones that I lose!The glasses are good, ground evenly across the field of view so that objects to the side are in focus like those in the center - a lot of inexpensive glasses aren't like that. The frames seem to be built pretty well, able to take a bit of abuse - although the polycarbonate lenses are pretty easy to scratch - true of almost any but glass lenses.The cases are OK - the pocket clip comes off easily, but I don't use that, anyway. The cases - which on mine are all aluminum - will protect the classes fine even though they can dent easily, but they are still usable. Sometimes the bushing between the top and bottom of the case halves will come out, but I just glue it back in with a drop of "goop" adhesive.4Very poor quality nose restsThe colors and fit of the readers were perfect for me. Very attractive and a good fit on the face. However after a few weeks the nose rests fell off. whats worse is that it is impossible to wear them without the rest as the steel posts are very sharp , becoming little swords that could cause serious damage. I used some cork cuttings to wear mine, but only in the home reading or needing a quick search on the computer. Additionally, I always kept them in the case when I was not using them. Not a good purchase at all and I would not recommend it anyone. I will try another brand.1nice in Pocket glasses, quality of lenses,nice in Pocket glasses, quality of lenses, clean up easily, no scratching after more than a month), fit in case nicely, tight, so they don't fall out. Case does not bend in your pocket, my pens do. I bought several 2.5, colors keep 1 for going out, another at home, another in briefcase, etc.), and a 4.0, (great for real close work, when you need to be close and it needs to be large, came in handy several times), 4.0, which I've never seen on any drug-store or discount store rack. KEY..... get extra eye pads, 12 or more, keep a set with you. they fall off and can be reinserted, but glasses are ribbed and after putting them back on several times, they're too loose to stay on. GO the $2 and get them. I love theses glasses. Best I've had in over years. Perfect? god Know! Nothing is perfect! However, if small, non scratch glasses, (I clean with Kleenex, paper towels, towels, and yes, even eye doctor cloths), but they say clear and easy to carry, these are it!5Great compact reading glasses -- perfect for small handbags!I was looking for durable glasses for my VERY small purse since simply slipping lightweight plastic rimmed glasses in my purse always ended with the same bad result -- broken unusable reading glasses. I came across these and they seem to be perfect for what I was looking for. They fit in my small purse and work great. I don't use them very often so not sure how they will hold up -- they fit in the case a little snugly and I worry that they will break, but so far so good!5
