Fun Glasses with Pretty FramesI received my Soolala glasses yesterday and Love them! They have fun flower frames with matching soft cases and the frames are exactly what I need--sturdy but attractive.(I only need these for reading small print so keep glasses all over the house to grab when I need to read something.) The service was very fast from order time to delivery and they were packaged very well. Big plus was the price for a package of 4. 5Stylish and Sturdy!I LOVE these reading glasses. They fit well and are comfortable. They come in such varied colors that it is easy to match your clothes of the day to a pair of reading glasses. And they each come in their own pouch. These are my fun glasses.Update: A few weeks ago my daughter accidentally backed her Suburban over one pair of my Soolala readers. I was devastated to think I had dropped them, and they were my favorie pair, too. Got to looking at it, and discovered that the frame was not bent, just a few mild scratches on it. The lenses were definitely scratched (duh), but my husband was able to switch those out with some from another pair that I didn't wear. Also, my opthalmologist was very impressed that the hinges are spring mounted, and that four pair were such a reasonable price. 5For inexpensive readers, these are just fine ...They say you get what you pay for, and I believe that's generally true. These aren't the most expensive readers on the market, so I don't expect them to perform as well as their more pricey competitors. When something like this exceeds my expectations, I feel I need to let others know.I'm happy with these. I've had mine for about 3 months so far, and they're just fine. No breakage, and I attribute that to the fact that I'm really careful in how I handle them. I purchased a total of 4 pairs -- 2 pair are 2.50X, 2 are 3.50X. After cataract surgery, I find I need different strengths for different activities, and I like to have a pair handy when I need them rather than having to remember to carry around the pair I *might* need sometime during the day. I wear one of the 2.50 pairs most of the time for computer work and some crafts. I use the 3.50 strength for close work (thread crochet, "fussy" cutting for 3D decoupage, etc.).I find the strengths to be reasonably accurate, with no distortions in the lens (some less pricey readers have problems with the lens strength varying near the edge of the glasses). Also, I have a fairly wide face and some inexpensive readers are just too narrow. Not these! They fit just fine, and the spring hinges are a very nice touch.I may purchase another couple of pairs of these (I use 3.0X strength for reading) -- from a price/performance standpoint, I think they're fine. 4Very misleading........I now see where I went wrong, but I think the main listing in large print of "SOOLALA 4-Pair Fashionable Spring Hinge Rectangular Reading Glasses w/ Matching Pouch" is VERY misleading, as I was expecting to get 4 pairs of glasses instead of only 2. I would suggest that this be reworded to say SOOLALA 4 2-Pair Fashionable Spring Hinge Rectangular Reading Glasses w/ Matching Pouch", so it's very clear upfront.I don't know if this is done intentionally or not, but this type of thing seems to be happening more and more on amazon; I find it to be very frustrating, now realizing how much time I have to spend scouring every bit of detail for every item to make sure I'm going to get what I think I'm ordering.I imagine I'm not the only one and it seems like it could be quite the easy fix...... 3Dangerous and Poorly MadeVery sloppy workmanship. I pricked my skin with the sharp point on hinges. The second pair fell apart after several wearings. Not worth the money and not worth my time to print, take to post office to return. I chalk it up to a lesson learned. 1More like a 3Customer beware. I bought the 4 pack 2.25 strength a couple of months ago. I picked the first pair (black) and only wore those until it broke. So I went to the next pair and they broke within a month. Got to my third pair (the blue ones) and the strength on them was incorrect. More like a 3.0 strength, so they're useless to me. And now I'm on my last pair within 3 months. Yes they're inexpensive but I would have excepted them to last longer. Jeez my dollar tree ones last much longer. 1Perfect... stylish!Oh i love them... beautiful! Colorful, sharp! New York, runway SHARP! Perfect!!! Just what i was looking for.! 5comfortable, really good lensesCute, comfortable, really good lenses...but don't put them on until you've washed them really well, and don't put them on until your facial moisturizer is soaked in or you'll end up with a color steak on your nose! It washed off easily but I was glad I wasn't in public! 4at first I was happy...these are as cute as can be, fit well and the magnification is correct -- but they are not designed to be taken on and off much -- I wear these at work, where I do flip back and forth between needing them and not, when I take them off I am not rough, and I hang them on the front of my shirt, so they are not being banged around or anything - but they are self destructing after 1 month of use -- the spot where the screw would go in is just plastic and breaks so there is no way to fix them either -- I gave it 2 stars because the 2 pairs I use at home are holding up okay, but that is because I rarely use them... disappointed 2LoveTwo pairs have broken. 2
