Keeps my kids healthy during cold/flu season!My kids are 4.5 and 2.5 and they used to become coughing, sneezing, snotting little germ balls every single winter since they started school/daycare. My daughter started at 2 and would bring home all the germs to my son who was a baby at the time. After two winters of our entire family being miserable and on and off antibiotics for various ear infections, bronchitis, strep throat and every other ailment, I had had enough and started doing some research. These probiotics have changed winters for us! By building up the good bacteria and gut health necessary to fight off bad bacteria, my kids have been able to stay healthy! They still get sick occasionally but the colds are nowhere near as severe and also are shorter in duration.Remember, every time you or your kids take antibiotics that medicine is wiping out bad bacteria as intended but it is also wiping out your good, beneficial bacteria. This good bacteria needs to be restored through eating fermented foods, eating probiotic food/drink such as kombucha, kefir, or yogurt, or supplementing. For kids, I find supplementing to be by far the easiest and most effective method.These gummies taste great and both of my kids love them. If I forget to dole them out, my kids remind me. They are also free off all the yuckies- GMOs, artificial flavors, synthetic colors, preservatives, wheat, milk, soy, gluten, peanuts, tree nut allergens, fish allergens, shellfish, and salicylates. They also do NOT have gelatin and are vegan. It's really hard to find a gummy vitamin without gelatin (dehydrated skin, bones, and tissues of dead animals- YUCK) so a big thumbs up there. :) 5Good Vitamins!First of all, it's awesome that this probiotic doesn't need to be refrigerated! That means we can travel with it for our kids :) My 6 year old loves them but my 4 year old doesn't like the taste. We have the grape. I may give the other flavor a try next time. 4Missing main probiotic ingredientsThese taste great, they re chew and my 3 year old really loves them BUT we have been suffering with constipational issues for a long time, our pediatrician told us to get probiotics so we tried these first. They haven t done anything for us and we have been taking them as directed for about 4 months. We finally switched to the biogaia brand and have been regular ever since. 3Kids hatedI tried this myself before giving it to my kids. I didn t care for the taste but it wasn t bad. It s different than a gummy to me, the inside is juicy and it smells like medicine. Now, my kids hate them. I have had to force them to take them for 5 days, when my 6 year old son finally said please no more mom. My son & daughter say they are horrible & hate them. Wouldn t buy them again. 1Work!!Daughter loves them and they work. Have become a part of her ADHD balancing regime. She loves the taste and they dont have all the extra garbage in them most vitamins do (ironic, isnt it?!). Highly recommend all of the Smarty Pants products which are cheaper by about $2-3 on Amazon versus Target. 5Constipation be gone!This helped my kid's stomach so much. He's more regular and no more constipation. No more rabbit droppings haha. 5Stopped my daughter s mild but chronic stomach aches all together within a week!My daughter has had mild but chronic stomach aches for months so I finally tried this probiotic and within a week of consistent use she stopped having stomach aches all together! So grateful (and feeling guilty for not trying them sooner)! Also, some people complain about the sugar, but a vitamin has about as much sugar as a large strawberry. Personally, this doesn t bother me at all - her diet is fairly low sugar to begin with and the benefits certainly outweigh a little extra sugar. 5She stated when she takes these and her green bottle ones of this brand that she feels better. We ordered the grape flavor and while the grape itself tasted good, there was this overwhelming aftertaste of dye...my daughter won't take them because of this aftertaste. 2Toddler chronic diarrhea RESOLVEDDoctors could not detect why my toddler had persistent diarrhea for over a year.A coworker suggested probiotics, something Gastrointestinal doctors and Dieticians never mentioned.I got these probiotics last weekend and within 2 days no loose stool, they are consistently formed.I like the progress in seeing with less allergies to foods as well. I wish I had known about these a year ago. Better late than never! 5
