Old School is BestWell, I'm writing a review for a hot water bottle.I sit at a desk all day and I have the worst posture imaginable. By the time I get home from work, I am aching in all the worst places but the most painful spot recently has been my neck and shoulders. I tried heating pads, stick-on pain relief patches, everything.Decided to take the old school route and get this cute thing. The cover is snug and fits the bottle nicely without any slippage and creates enough of a barrier to avoid discomfort. The bottle itself is durable. I hand wash it when I'm done and it's worked like a charm every time. I'm only skeptical about washing the cover in the machine as I feel it will probably shrink and not work afterwards so I'll hand wash when the time comes.4Beautiful looking hot water bottle ..love the sweaterGreat water bottle. She likes it very much. It s a little smaller than what I used in my childhood, but the velvet cover is very smooth and safe to touch when it s very hot. When it s filled fully, it s get solid and heavy, and lasts over 1 hour and still warm. It can be held as a little pet.:) highly recommend.5Like my mom s but cuterI ordered this water bottle to use as cooling relief for hot flashes at night. I filled it about half way and put it in my pillow without the cover. For this purpose it is not half bad. After a few moments I forget it is under my head. My pillow is made up of foam pieces so the water bottle molds right in. When I first lay down I adjust it so I am not laying on the mouth of it. So far no leaks after two nights.The color is nice and the bottle seems sturdy. One side has a ribbed texture and the other side is smooth. I use it smooth side up. The ribs seem to keep it from sliding around.The cover is cute and reminds me of a Dog s sweater. It slips on and off easily enough. It feels like a regular sweater. Soft but not silky soft. I imagine it helps keep the water warm longer and would keep from scalding you if the water is too hot.5Plastic hot water bottle with cover included!Love this semitransparent hot water bottle! Bought it to replace a red rubber one that finally bit the dust. I was thrilled to be able to get a knot cover included with purchase. (An aside-the knit cover reeked on arrival, it I washed it with some liquid dish soap, hung it up to dry, and it was fine).I love that I can see the level of the water inside as it fills.I found that if I hold the bottle by the neck under a hot tub faucet, it is slippery. So beware under hot hot water as you may burn yourself.5good hot water bottleI like this hot water bottle a lot. My old one was made of rubber and got brittle over time. Hopefully that doesn't happen with this one. There doesn't seem to be any metal parts in the neck/cap but I wouldn't put it in the microwave just in case. I would recommend it to everyone.5Great Hot Water BottleI love hot water bottles and have been using them for over 40 years, so I know a good one when I use it. I've used this one several times a day for more than a week and I really like it. The silicone material seems to be very durable and the wide opening at the top is great. Makes it so easy when pouring the water. Can't say that it being transparent makes any difference since it's always in the cover. The fleece cover got a worn/used look very quickly, but that doesn't bother me and doesn't impact the hot water bottle itself. I shall be buying another one soon.5
