You will need to double it for a regular cup.The serving size per packet is 120ml. The directions are in Japanese, but the illustrations on the back do include 120ml. 120 ml is about 4oz of water, or 1/2 cup, and I thought the tea flavor was a little weak. This is a bit small, even for a teacup-sized portion which is usually 5-6 oz. The flavor was fine, and if you do the math, it comes out to be about $1 per 8oz cup of tea. (I bought a 2 pack for $10)If you make your own tea at home, I'd recommend making plain tea at regular strength and then adding the packet instead of sweetener. It enhances the tea more than it replaces it.3Love it!I've been looking for a replacement for the Japanese bottled milk tea that the Asian supermarket in my neighborhood used to carry. This Nitto Kocha Royal Milk Tea tastes very close to it. On top of it, since it can be served hot or cold, I could also use it as the base of my homemade bubble tea. I have also tried adding marshmallow or tapioca pearls for a change. The instruction suggests adding 120 ml of hot water for each pouch. It's too sweet for me, so I add 200 ml of water instead. I think 120 ml is more suitable for a cold drink measurement.51 pack per 120 ml of water, a standard mug is about 400 mlThe taste/flavor is great, it is just like the "Kirin afternoon tea with milk" bottles. The only problem is that 1 pack is supposed to make 120 ml. For reference, the standard poland spring bottle is 500 ml, and a typical mug is about 400 ml. This means that you will have to use at least 2-3 packs for a reasonably full mug. If using 2 packs, you will need honey to compensate, otherwise it will taste really watered down. Or alternatively just use less water. When you consider that the Kirin bottls cost about 2-3 dollars each, these packs don't seem too bad in terms of pricing, and these are more portable than bottles.Thankfully, the back of the package had 120 ml written, which did not require any translation for an American like me.4Best Instant Royal TeaAs I stated in my other review of the same product but different packaging, ordering this from Amazon saves me time AND money. This has been rather difficult to find in my area. This is the best version of Royal Tea I have found in either instant OR ready made form. Add to that the fact that they are individual serving sizes and now I can enjoy this tea everywhere! But, this actually doesn't need more. It has such good flavor that it is a sipping drink. Though i had to use 2 packets due to the size of cup i used, the flavor was great. I used a splash of whole milk and a tsp. Of sugar for my personal tastes. IMO the milk helped enhance the flavor. Will be buying more.5Tastes like the Royal Milk Tea you get in JapanThis tastes like the real deal that you get in Japan. There is another product that is similar - Blendy Stick in the purple package - but that is sweetened with aspartame and I don't like the taste of artificial sweeteners.The sweeteners on this product are listed as 'sugar' and 'lactose' and it doesn't have an artificial sweetener taste. This is consistent with the calorie content of 59 kcal per packet.I have included a picture of the label on the back of the package that lists the contents. I also did a Google Translate of the writing on the package - so you can read the directions, review the ingredients, etc.5Delicious!I spent some time in Japan this summer and got to love Royal Milk Tea (canned version.) The cans are too expensive to get in the States, so I thought I'd try this powder. The packets were much larger than I was expecting, and there is a lot of powder in one packet (see photo.) After reading the reviews I used two packets in my cup. It was delicious and just as I remembered drinking in Japan! Very pleased with this Royal Milk Tea product. The instructions are in traditional Chinese, according to my translation program. You just add hot water, stir, and drink. I didn't feel a need to add any milk or sugar/honey, it was perfect the way it is. I haven't tried to make it cold yet, but I'm sure I will soon! Definitely would buy again. Great price, fast delivery.5Hooked after 1 cupThis is delicious! I've been wanting to try this tea for forever and finally bought it. After reading a lot of reviews that said one pack for every 4-6 oz, we put 1 1/2 packets in 9oz cups and it was really good, but quite sweet. I figured it had powdered milk in it, but not sweetener as well. I was surprised to read that some people added honey in theirs. This morning, I just put one pack in the same cup and it was fine. I like sweet but two packets was just too much for me. Don't get me wrong, it was delicious! Just not for every day. Maybe if we had it in a 12-14oz cup, it would be different? Maybe for those of you who don't want super sweet as well, add your second packet a little at a time and taste as you go depending on cup size. Anyway, I'll be looking for this tea somewhere in bulk because 10 packs will be gone before I know it. =D5It taste pretty average to meIt taste pretty average to me, found it kind of expensive since one pack you can only put a little bit of water in, 4 sips and its gone.
