Very nice glasses...one issueNice glasses. They have a quality feel to them. This is my second time buying these. I went from a 1.75 to 2.0. The lens is a bit thick but they look good. As my old pair...the plastic used on the nose piece smells like a skunk...lost as star for that. Hopefully, as with my prior pair, the smell goes away...took over a month last time. 4High quality readers. Sturdy hinges. Microfiber bags included!Very nice readers! Lightweight but much more durable feeling and looking hinges than previous readers I've had. Each one comes in a microfiber bag for storage and cleaning. Spring frames are very comfortable. Returned the other readers I tried and kept these! Very pleased. 5Well worth the money!I purchased the 3 pack so I could carry one with me, have one by my bed for reading my books, and have one on hot standby...just in case. So far, these readers are very sturdy and the spring hinges are a nice bonus which make them comfortable to wear. Are they the best glasses ever? No, but let's face it....they are 'reading glasses.' Hence, the 4 stars instead of 5. The nose pieces could be a little more comfortable. Then again, they're not meant to be worn all day. So for what they are, these are actually worth more than what I paid for them, IMHO.Customer service was outstanding! Erin emailed me not long after I made the purchase to see how I liked the glasses. Being in the military, I told her that I still hadn't received them due to my current location. She told me that if I needed anything at all to just let her know and she'd take care of it. So far, I haven't needed to.Bottom line: if you need reading glasses, don't hesitate to get these. Worth it!!! 4Fairly decent but they do need some adjustmentsThe nose bridges on these readers are all cattywompused. i.e. they are all bent in weird directions. The little plastic nose pieces all tend to fall off after a relatively short time. The bottom line is that these are cheap and disposable. I can only hope to get a couple months out of on pair. 4TruVision Eyeglasses Work Like A Charm!These glasses are great! And they're good-looking, too! After recently losing my prescription reading glasses, I did not want to spend another $800.00 for a replacement pair, so I called our local eyeglass business to find out what my eyeglass strength is (based on my last eye test a year or so ago). When they told me my eyeglass strength was 3.25, I took that information and applied it to my Amazon order for my TruVision Reading Glasses. Sure enough -- 3.25 was right! These glasses are accurate as can be. They're perfect for reading that ever-present, annoying, tiny print that constantly surrounds us. And, better yet, you get 3 pairs of them for the price including a neat storage bag in which to store each pair. I'm really glad I bought them! I can highly recommend them to anyone who is tired of having to fork out $800 for prescription reading glasses. NOTE: As good as these eyeglasses are, they don't replace the need for an eye test -- especially if you're diabetic as I am. It's still important that you get an eye test every year or so.ADDITIONAL NOTE: The TruVision owner took the time and effort to send me a follow-up email to ensure that I'm happy with my purchase, which was a really nice touch. It's good to know that the promotion of Good Will is still alive and well. 5Better than TitaniumAfter my cataract surgeries, my doc told me that off-the-shelf reading glasses would be all that I need. This is good for me because prescription glasses last maybe last two-three months before I destroy them. I started buying top shelf readers at $16 each but they would last only a month....then I found these. With my nasty wear & tear, these also last a month but they fit better and cost a tiny fraction of the "Titanium" glasses. 5STAY AWAY FROM THIS PIECE OF JUNK!Horrible quality!, I thought these would be better than my standby Costco glasses, but the first pair broke in two at the center after one week. I figured that was just bad luck. But my second of three pairs popped a lens right after the one month return period. I am so sorry I bought these!! 1Not as durable as I had hoped.I bought a couple sets of these to replace my 1.5's. I liked that they came in their own pouch but quickly realized they're not very durable. They scratch easily and one has a chip in it already. My previous glasses lasted more than five years and only had two pairs of those. I had to replace them with a stronger 2.0. I bought two sets because I forget where I leave them. I wouldn't recommend them. 2THEY STINK LIKE BURNING RUBBER - SMELL AWFULLSoft parts stink like burning rubber. Probably made from recycled tires. They smell so bad I can't even wear them. Probably will cause cancer if I do. Lots of Chinese made glasses around that have the same issue but I was hoping for more from Amazon. Don't believe the reviews, these things smell awful. 1ExcellentI've always purchased my glasses at local retailers and the strongest magnification I can find is 3.25, but TruVision offers every magnification anyone could ever want. Every pair of glasses I've bought in the past from local stores didn't very last long, are cheaply made, and break or scratch easily. Well, I'm so glad I found these TruVision glasses on Amazon. First, they're packed in a nice box and each pair (I bought a 3-pack) has it's own soft case. Nice touch. The first thing I noticed upon opening was the nice weight and feel of high quality, strong glasses - and I was very surprised. They felt nothing like the cheap glasses I've been buying at my local dollar store or grocer. When I put them on they fit immediately. I didn't have to bend them or make huge adjustments. They also grip my face well and don't slip. Most importantly, almost every off-the-shelf pair of I've bought in the past has an area of imperfection right around the edges of the lens that causes a blurred, "googly eye" effect when looking out of the very edges of the glass.. But these TurVisions are crystal clear the entire length and width of the lens right to the very edges. I love the design & style too. Most every pair I've bought in the past are bent incorrectly and not to my liking. They always seem to have an "up-curve" bend from the middle of the frame that reminds me of an outdated 60's or 70's look and I have to bend them down so the lenses appear straight across at the tops and look decent. These TruVisions, however, are the complete opposite. They were ready to go out of the box. The rims / lenses are designed to be straight across the tops, offering a modern, sleek, low profile look with no bending or adjustments needed.. Will definitely buy again no doubt. 5
