Nice and WarmMy experience with heating pads is limited, this is the first infrared heat wrap I have used. I do not use regular heating pads either. A hot bath has been my preferred heat therapy. That said, I purchased the Qfiber Body Wrap to use after my stem cell therapy later this month. After taking it for a few test drives, I like the penetrating warmth. It has helped with a minor back tweak, one of those occasional twangs I treat with stretching and a hot bath. It was also very pleasant on my belly at the wrong time of the month. I would have given it 5 stars except it smells like toxic chemicals. Hopefully the evil reek will dissipate, I am going to hang it outside in the sun and fresh air to see if that helps. I really like the way it forms to various body parts. I've used the medium setting only, which seems plenty hot, almost too hot at times. I also like the timer which turns it off after an hour. So far I've used the wall plug, but I like the option of using it in the car, with batteries or even with the USB port on my computer. Will it drain the battery immediately? I'll find out in the near future. I'm going to test a regular heating pad, if I determine it's about the same I'll update my review, if I don't update, the infrared is noticeably better. 4Fell ApartThe portion of this "heat wrap" that actually heated up was minuscule - not much bigger than a deck of cards. Quit working all together after just a few uses. Really sad that I wasted money on this. :( 2Good heat pad, but a few drawbacksThe heat and comort is good on this one. But I bought it for the portability...using the battery pack. Problem is, I think it kills your batteries...which aren't cheap especially since I was using rechargeables. Killed those completely. They won't take a charge now. But the thinness is good. There is a small plastic connection in the middle of the back that can poke into you if you are lying on your back on a hard surface. Despite these drawbacks, I still find the quality and unit to be very good overall. 4Works fine, but isn't actually portable.As a heat wrap, this thing works well enough. It was fairly comfortable, for instance, and looks decent as well. However, I ended up returning this item because I felt I was misled about its specific functionality. While it is listed as a "Portable USB Powered Heat Wrap," it is not, in fact, portable. That is to say, you CAN take it places, and walk around with it on, but it does not retain power nor heat unless it is actually plugged in. So when they say it's portable, that sort of implies it might have some sort of built-in battery that keeps the heating coils running for a while. But it doesn't have this. It's just a wrap that you can plug in. 3this item is labeled "non returnable" which is horrible considering the misleading descriptionThe description on this is deceiving... portable does not mean you can move around while the heat is on. In case anyone is wondering, its pretty much just a resistor inside a neoprene pouch. The spiral design on the outside has nothing to do with the heating element. I have not used the AC plug that came with it. I use a 20V power tool battery with a USB adapter. 4snug secure fit, truly portableExcellent product! It has a battery pack and car charger so you can truly wear this wherever you go. And it straps very tight and securely so I use it in place of my back brace.Con - it doesn't get as hot as I like so it doesn't go over jeans well, and the area of heat is very targeted at the bullseye. I need a wider range if heat. And the battery pack isn't made the greatest.But if you need a portable heating pad for one area this is great! 5Winter enthusiast will want this.I bought a similar one for my bday that cost twice as much and doesn't have all the extensions and different plugins this one has. This is for his dad. My bc used his for hunting up here in upstate NY. He said it makes a huge difference. One day he forgot it and wondered why he got cold so quickly until he realized he'd forgotten it. Recharges quickly. He had his on the next to lowest setting under his cameo coat, which gives him about 4 hours of heat. I highly recommend if you have activities you enjoy, but want to stay warm at an affordable price, this a must buy. 5No battery pack, very low heat, not recommendedI received this last weekend. I purchased it for the purpose of being able to walk around freely without always needing to be "plugged up". I also wanted something that I could use in the car because we were planning a family vacation for Christmas with a 9 hour drive. If you suffer with back issues you know the absolute dread of 9 hours in a car. I began trying to use this wrap a few days ago. I kept thinking something is not right. If it was plugged into the wall the worked quickly. If it wasnt there was no other power source because mine DID NOT COME WITH THE BATTERY PACK. I'm using a power bank that is only a few months old. This power bank is a good one that can easily charge an iPad and 2 cellphones at once and still have enough power for multiple other charges. So there goes my hopes of using this without hauling around long cords and a power bank. I have contacted the Seller itself about this missing item. When using the power bank it did heat up quickly initially. I've had it on for less than 30 minutes and the heat is barely there. I can only feel heat if I lean against something (sitting down with a pillow behind my back). According the the tiny sheet with instructions that come with this you aren't supposed to lay down with this on or apply pressure against it. However, for the unit I received that is the only way to FEEL the heat. I am currently searching for another power bank in hopes that MAYBE that will solve the low heat feeling. I have it set on the highest setting. It feels like it's on the lowest setting. To say that I am disappointed is an understatement. I searched for a long time for this item. I researched multiple products before deciding on this one. I do have this applied DIRECTLY to my skin - not with a tshirt or cami in between the unit and my body - and the heat is still that low. I will update this if/when I hear from the Seller regarding my unit arriving with no battery pack. I see other reviews saying they also didn't receive their battery pack. Some reviews say their unit is very hot. This leaves me wondering about quality control issues with the manufacturer and/or Seller. If one unit is scorching the skin on low of one person and another unit is barely providing any heat - there is some sort of problem. There is certainly a problem if multiple people are not receiving the battery pack. In the photo it's clear to see that the wrap is not plugged into anything. That indicates to a customer that this item can be used WITHOUT having it plugged in to a power source. THAT is false advertising and bad business practices. I will wait to hear back from the Seller to see what they can do to resolve my problem. If they do not I will move on and contact Amazon to see what can be done. I would be very leary of purchasing this item. In good conscience at this time I cannot recommend this item. 1A fantastic heating padI have back problems and live with heating pads and when my back spasms I end up in bed on my heating pad or end up in a ball on the floor in tears. This portable heating pad allows me to continue my day when it gets bad. Heat level is not as hot as the plug in heating pad but easily hits 85 percent of their maximum so easily produces the heat that is needed to feel relief when walking around and not too hot when driving so it is in my mind a perfect heat level. It does not come with a battery pack but you can pick up a battery pack ment for cell phones and tablets and it is far cheaper. Just remember this is a heating pad go for the 22000 mah or bigger ones as you can pick one of those up for under 40 and finishes this off perfectly. I have a 22650 mah battery and it will get me through 6 hours of use. It has an auto off after 1 hour which while annoying it does help to prolong it's battery's life. If you have more than a 42 to 44 waist pick up the extenders but the ones that come with it can handle a 44 waist without discomfort or tricks to make it fit. If you need a heating pad that needs to be mobile or flexible this is an option you will not be disappointed in. 5
