These ear plugs are pretty good to sleep withThese ear plugs are pretty good. I've never had any ear plugs that I can't feel but I'm able to fall asleep with these ones and they block almost any sounds my crazy potheads neighbors can make. My ear channels are a bit sore when I wake wake up but not too much and so far it's the most comfortable ear plugs to sleep with I tried. 5Similar to (cheaper) Quiet Please earplugsI've been using Flents Quiet Please Earplugs for years, after trying several brands from a local drugstore. The Flentz plugs were my favorites because they are easy to insert, stay in well, block a lot of sound, and are fairly cheap. They sometimes make my ears a bit sore when I wear them overnight, but not too bad.Last year I noticed that Amazon was selling three different varieties of foam plugs by Flents, so I decided to compare them. The Super Sleep plugs were particularly interesting because sleeping is one of the main times I wear earplugs. They advertised a "shorter length", which begged the question: shorter than what?The answer is NOT that they're shorter than the more common, cheaper Quiet Please plugs. Rather, they're shorter than the extremely long Flents Quiet Time Ear Plugs, which they resemble because of the rounded end. The advantage of greater length is, apparently, a higher Noise Reduction Rating (33dB vs 29dB). But I'm pretty sure that assumes you can actually fit the longer plug all the way into your ear, which would probably be uncomfortable for most people. If you're going to leave the extra length sticking outside your ear, as most people probably would, the noise reduction will be about the same.(Note: Noise Reduction Ratings are very approximate. The real amount of reduction depends on the frequencies of the sound, how well you insert the plugs, and the shape of your ear canal, among other things. Ratings are at best an average, and at worst marketing.)Compared with the basic cylindrical Quiet Please plugs, Super Sleep plugs are slightly longer, but narrower, and have a rounded end. I think the theory is that the shape should make them more comfortable. So far I haven't really been able to tell the difference. The Noise Reduction rating is the same.Overall I think the Quiet Please plugs are a better deal, especially since you can buy them in larger containers. But if you're using them for sleeping, I think it's worth getting a small box of each and comparing yourself. Sleep is important. 4Starting with I never leave reviews... I ...Starting with I never leave reviews ... I am compelled to leave one. After 3 trials of this product, it has been completely proven it does not work, it does not protect from noise, much less from snoring.Trial one: person sleeping in same bed snoring -not even loudly. Earplugs FAIL to cover that noise.Trial two: person sleeping in same room, different bed, snoring, not very loudly. Earplugs FAIL to cover that noise.Trial three: person sleeping in DIFFERENT room, snoring, not very loudly. Earplugs FAIL to cover that noise THROUGH THE WALL.Do I need to say more? 1These work and most important, they allow me to sleepI travel quite a bit for work and I have a tough time falling asleep in hotel rooms due to the weird noises you hear, AC units that rumble and bang, noisy neighbors, street noise, etc. I first tried this at the Marriott Markham Ontario. Their AC units not only emitted a great deal of noise, the one I had the sound of water swirling around within it. No way I'd be able to sleep with that thing on. Then I remembered I packed these ear plugs. They were fairly comfortable and for the next four nights, I slept well with them in and the AC on. They block most, but not all the noise, and since they're shorter than most ear plugs they allow you sleep on your side in relative comfort. It'll take a few minutes to get used to but they're worth it. 5Too stiff, did not conform to my smallet ear holes.Macs snore blockers are a little too long for me, so I hoped these would be a success. The length on these is perfect, but the foam they use is firm and less molding, so even though I have small ear canals and the shape has a bump for a better seal, these did not create a proper seal to reduce noise. See pics for size comparison. I primarily use earplugs to block out neighbors with barking dogs randomly through the night.They do come with a little clear, square, clam-style carry case that can hold 2 plugs (4 if you squish them down and flip layer). I liked that better than the Mac's tubes. 2Got TMJ? Me, too. But these are JUST FINE.OH MY GOODNESS. These are simply the BEST earplugs I have ever tried. I am a light sleeper and my husband snores. Dude. Plus, I have TMJ from a broken jaw that never set right, so sticking sh*t in my ears usually is more trouble than it's worth. HOWEVER, these ear plugs really are super comfy! They're short, so I can sleep on my side without dislodging them. They're soft, so they don't bother my ears/jaw/etc. I used them last night and slept better than I have in years, even with my husband SNORING IN MY FACE ALL NIGHT LONG. Yes, that's right. The noise that was previously comparable to chainsaws prior to using these ear plugs, last night was simply a gentle breeze. I'm sold. These things are amazing. I'd give them twenty stars if I could. PLEASE DON'T EVER STOP MAKING THEM. 5things like that. But these stay in all night and ...These worked perfectly for me. I'm a light sleeper and in the morning I always wake up from people opening/closing doors, things like that. But these stay in all night and I don't wake up from sounds anymore! Sometimes one plug falls out but as long as you put it in correctly they will stay in. I also toss and turn a lot at night so I'm very pleased with that.I am also a frequent traveller so I will be using these on flights as well. Keep in mind though, they don't block really loud noises like your alarm. It probably won't help you that much if you are trying to use these because your partner snores next to you in bed (if they're really loud). It will silence all noises from the next room though.They are super soft and are very comfortable to sleep with. I have very small ears too. I would definitely recommend this! 5They work, they really work!Earplugs and I don't like each other! Yes they are needed for several reasons, but typically they like to abandon ship when the load into my ears. And if I'm able to get one in position and lay my head down on the pillow, you swear it's turned into a different material entirely, from soft foam to a giant rock. Oh, the wonderful feeling! But then I found these. I was very hesitant, but I was going on a trip and never get sleep when someone around me is a loud snorer. So I took a chance, and so glad I did. These things actually fit, and being small they don't punch through your eardrum when you lay your head down either 5Finally! Ear plugs that do not hurt!I have a lot of difficulty sleeping due to a chronic sleep disorder. I sleep with ear plugs and an eye mask every night to help with a routine to tell my body it's time to slow down and rest. I've ordered over 6 different brands of ear plugs that were marketed towards people with smaller ear canals, and all of them eventually made the inside of my ear canal ache from the pressure.I actually found these in the clearance section of my local super market and figured it was worth giving them a try. I was super excited when after a month of nightly use, I still didn't develop sore ear canals!They do not block as many decibels as some other ear plugs, but I'll take that over ear pain. I'm so glad to find them on Amazon so that I can keep using them. (It took me a month to go through the pack of ten, I keep my ears clean and wash my hands before inserting them so that they can last through multiple uses). 5Very disappointing size.Tough to rate these, as quality is okay but these are definitely the smallest earplugs I've seen. Would be an excellent size for a child or those with very narrow ear canals. If you have 'medium' or larger earholes these will fall out and not seal out noise.Pictured between a standard pencil eraser and a blue hear-o (which are a bit larger than most plugs but squishier foam than these)(Side note, Amazon needs to stop allowing drastically different products to pool ratings.) 2
