Would recommend these to any backpackerBrought these on a backpacking trip and ate them for breakfast. They're really tasty, calorie dense, and lightweight. Would recommend these to any backpacker.5Pro bar meal on the Goooo.!!Love this Pro bar,however I was a bit perplexed when I opened the box to see the packaging was changed. At first I thought my order wss wrong somehow. Although the ingredients seem to be equal I noticed the nutrition entries were changed m moved around. Hopefully it may improve quality. The taste is phenomenal. Pro bar is my favorite.4Really great taste. A lot cheaper to buy on AmazonI'm so happy I thought about going to Amazon to buy these because I go to my local health food store and buy them and it is a lot more expensive. These are absolutely delicious and the super Berry is my favorite flavor. I love that its organic and GMO free5DISAPPOINTED IN ITEMS PRICESOne star is for over priced item. The taste is great and having lots of nuts in each single bar. However, I have discovered that I could have gotten this item for $10 less. I now realize that Amazon's health foods are very expensive. I would suggest that before any customer buy anything at Amazon, please do some comparison shopping-- you will be surprised. I wish I had done that before I bought the PRO BAR Meal from them. However, this review is reflective of the seller, not the bar producer. These bars came in a box covered in Christmas wrapping paper, which is concerning considering its October. I checked the expiration date which is fine, but they are still stale. The bars feel like they've around the world and back. They are hard and greasy, almost inedible. Don't get ripped off. I threw them all away because the seller does not except returns. $40 down the drain. Criminal.1Delicious! Perfect meal replacement when you're on the go!I LOVE these... so far I've had the Banana Nut, Chocolate & Peanut Butter, Almond Crunch and Original Trail Mix and every one of them is delicious. Not only do they taste great, they satisfy my hunger and stay with me. I am hypoglycemic, so when I have something high in refined sugar, when I crash I get Hangry, this doesn't happen with these.5Need to seriously look at their bulk packagingI love the ProBar meal bars, but I am seriously upset about the waste in their bulk packaging. They recently revised their packaging and it now comes with 6 food bars in a solid cardboard box. Before the bars came packaged in a paper box. The concern is the size of the box is immensely wasteful. The box that came with 6 food bars is able to hold 16!!! It's a nice way to consolidate, but in this day there's no reason to have excess packaging.....especially when ordering from Amazon. They need to seriously rethink their bulk packaging. Richard's RatingsRichard's Ratings:When I received my Variety Pack of ProBars I raced to get the box off the porch and ripped open the Amazon box and then the Variety Pack! Excited to try the Blueberry Muffin before my wife could get home and interfere. I knew she would want half as we had discussed how this was definitely a flavor we wanted to try. Well, I may be exaggerating somewhat. However, it is true that there were 3 or 4 bars that we wanted to try and I had looked at the picture to see what flavors came in the Variety Pack and Blueberry was at the top of this short list. We were disappointed that it wasn't there. In it's place though, we found Mocha Almond Fudge, which I think is likely to be a big hit. Along with this pack, we also bought a pack of the Banana Nut Bread ProBars. She had tried these at work and thought they were GREAT! I didn't expect to like these as much as she did, but was pleasantly surprised that it was quite good.Also, why is the expiration date hiding under the flap on the Variety Pack while the date is more conveniently printed on the bars from the box of Banana Nut Bread bars. And yes, those are both Banana Nut Bread bars in the picture. Oh, and while I'm being picky - when am I not. Why do I have to pull the overlapping flap up out of the way in order to see the ingredients and that a serving is considered only a half of a bar. Oh sure, you bet :)We decided to rate the bars from the Variety Pack with a score of 1 to 5 as we try them. 1 for least good and 5 for most good.Our taste ratings are complete for all of these now. We tried them in the order that I thought we would like them. Interestingly, it didn't turn out to be our preference all that way through, but the one we tried last did turn out to be one of only two that we both gave a five:ProBar: Her Rating - My Rating / CommentOriginal Trail Mix: 4 - 2 / This is the first one that I tried. Will surely get a box on our next order from Amazon.The Blueberry Muffin has a story of its own. A friend in a nearby town told us that a popular local quick stop chain has these. We checked 5 locations in our town and they had 5 boxes of 6 different bars depending on the store, but not one Blueberry Muffin was discovered. She took matters into her own hands and ordered an entire box of these from Amazon. So the ratings are in:Blueberry Muffin: 3 - 4 / Yup. Sort of anticlimactic, I guess. This one goes into the probably wouldn't by a box group.Just for the record:I would like to see a better breakdown of the fats in the bar. Details regarding Mono-unsaturated Polyunsaturated fats would be nice. We can assume that there are some in these good fats in these bars, but the details would be nice. Good that they don't seem to have trans fats.Less salt and less added sugars would be good.- Richard4Tasty and nutritiousPros: filling, not too sweet, good taste, nutritious, portable, no soy, nightshades, or sugar alcohols; easily digestedCons: a bit high in sugar, pricey, high in calories, depending on the batch, a bar can have an unfortunate green powder taste.Bottom line: These bars are a good choice for the occasional meal replacement or snack. Superberry is the best flavor in my experience.5Tastes fine, good size, but not as big as depicted.They taste fine and are fairly filling. I eat one for breakfast after my workout. I'm not big on breakfast so I use these as a way to get myself to eat at least something. I got them since the price per gram was good, but do not be deceived by the picture they have of a person holding the package. The bar is not that big and about a third of the package is air.
