Saves my clothes!I eat on couch semi-reclined while watching TV and had a regular apron I would wear that had to be laundered every few days maximum. This is long enough and wide enough providing full coverage, and I''m not petite. However, wish it had something to secure around the waist, I'll have to come up with something for that, but not enough to take off a star. 5No more stained clothes & it looks goodNo more stained clothes! I like to sit and watch a movie while I eat and that leads to dropped food and stains. This bib, er, "mealtime protector" is attractive, large enough to cover down to my knees, and waterproof. I like the snaps because I have long hair and don't need to have my hair caught in the velcro. Yes, my bib came with snaps just as the description said it would. 5Great clothes protector!Great bib for elderly. A little pricey (hence only 4 stars) but does a great job. With the vinyl on the back, nothing can soak through. Big enough to catch food that falls into a lap. I bought these for my elderly parents and they love them. (Note: It really isn't necessary to wash them after every meal unless someone truly makes a BIG mess while eating. My parents use them for several meals, then wash them. They do not spill enough to warrant a wash after every meal.) 4I'm not (that) old - just sloppyOne day I slopped food down the front of a new blouse and that was the straw that broke the camels back. OK, bibs are for me. People use them when they eat lobster, not just old people. I ordered 3 and LOVE them. They're large, well constructed, with a velcro neck grip. The backing is water resistant so there is no leak through. They hang down to my lap to catch crumbs. I sent out an email to my kids saying "Mommy bought bibs" warning them that mommy is on the downward side of the hill. Much to my surprise, my daughter wants me to get some for her too. (We did also purchase some with velcro and that quickly fails, rendering the bibs useless.)I do not pre-treat these bibs and we have had no staining, plus the backing truly renders them waterproof, or at least if the terry gets wet the person wearing the bib does not.Thumbs up. 5Works, but I can not tie it to hang ...Works, but I can not tie it to hang around y neck as I am handicap.
