Heel Lift works really wellI've been using the Heel Lift for Leg Length Discrepancy in my left leg for about two weeks now. I really like the structure of this heel lift and it does exactly what it is suppose to do - give my stance balance. The heel lift is very comfortable and fits nicely in the heel of my shoes. I bought small as I wear a size 5-1/2 shoe. The heel lift fits perfectly. I recommended these to a good friend as she has leg length discrepancy and has had a very hard time finding the right heel lift. Hope she gives them a try. 5good lift, poor positioning in shoeI bought these not to correct a length imbalance but to give my heel a little lift in two different pairs of flat shoes due to a hip injury (labral tear) that causes more pain the lower my heel sinks. The cushions are nice and help to correct my problem, but I have had a problem keeping the lifts wedged into the back heel of my shoe; they do not stay put and slip further and further forward as I walk. I do not think I'll buy them again. 3Fell Apart, No Adhesive Read UPDATEFirst of all, they have no adhesive to keep them in place. Second, they fell apart on first use. I know they are supposed to come apart for custom fit, just didn t know how simply they did come apart. Now I have to glue them together again, then find some two sided tape to keep them in place in the shoe. Very poorly designed. UPDATE wear thes underneath the insole of your shoe they stay in place longer, may have to adjust once every couple of days. 4What I particularly like about these lifts is that they allow me to ...I had hip surgery some time ago, and that leg is a tad shorter thanthe other one. Walking with even that discrepancy causes backpain, a pelvic imbalance, and of course pain in both legs.What I particularly like about these lifts is that they allow me to'fine tune' the lift, so I can walk normally.I will no doubt order more, so I have a lift for eachof my pairs of shoes. 5Works OK for light weightlifting (ie front squats).I'm using these bilaterally in Adidas Adipowers to get more heel lift for front squats. I wasn't sure if they would be to squishy (they are firm foam rubber), but for front squats and power cleans at 100lbs they are fine, and I don't notice any squishiness. I don't know if they would work for heavy weights. The more expensive WOD-lift product (made for lifting) might be better.Sizing: the Medium heel lifts are slightly wider than the heel of a size 10 adipower. This means the heels lift makes a very slight heel cup when you shove them in, and they stay in place after that, even while doing power cleans. I tried using them both under the original insole and over the insole, and the latter (over) seems more comfortable and stable.A small might fit Size 10 Adidas as well, but a large will not.Total heel lift is 1 1/8 inches (Adipowers have the standard 0.75 and these add another 3/8). Too much lift (ie standing on a 5lb weight in addition to Adipowers) put too much load on my knees and gives me pain. These are a good compromize for my particular issues, but otjer lifters might want more or less lift. These are adjustable in layers, so they might be a good option to get 1/4 or 1/8 lift. 5After hip replacement these have rescued me from awkward uneven legs.After hip replacement surgery, I discovered that I was left me with one leg longer by 2cm (about 3/4 of an inch) and it was very awkward. After some frantic buying of differing heel lifts, I discovered these were head and shoulder above the others. Using the two lifts in one shoe heel to make the right height, I finally match again and am able to walk normally instead of gallumping. I bought some extras so I could keep them in different shoes or leave them in one. They are easy to put in, and do not get into my arch area but stay in my heel where they belong. I don't even notice them as I walk and don't have to worry about them shifting. The material itself looks like cork. They are very comfortable because they are not too hard nor are they soft. 5Lifting You Higher with Comfort And Durability.These adjustable heel lifts are well made... made of neoprene rubber so I suspect they will last. Will come back to update if that is not the case. Each of the 2 pads uas three sections that you can mix and match to adjust any height discrepancies between your legs. I have worn them for about two weeks and they seem to stay in place, are comfortable and love the ability to be able to adjust the height as I happen to have a right leg that is about a 1/4" shorter than my left. It takes a little time to get used to them, especially considering how many years you may have been walking around without a correction... but I like these so much, I just ordered a second pair. 5I highly recommend these lifts if you have a difference in leg ...This is the second time I have purchased these heel lifts to deal with uneven leg lengths that cause back or sacroiliac pain. The lift sections can be separated depending on the length difference. I have a lift for every pair of shoes now because I have to trim the forward part to fit in my different style shoes. I highly recommend these lifts if you have a difference in leg length. 5Life changing ...I suffered a severe knee injury while mountain biking about 23 years ago and for the last 5 years I ve been having pretty strange back, hip and chest symptoms. I ve been to several different Dr s about my issues with no progress. I ve been using these heel lifts for just one week and I ve noticed several problems that have been eliminated and or reduced significantly in the amount of discomfort. After ordering this pair, I have since ordered two additional sets. So far, this has been life changing. No joking. 5Great productThis is the second order for these lifts. I ordered the wrong size and height the first time and could not find a good comfortable height, and had to trim the outside edges to get the lift to even fit in my shoe. I did a better job on the measurements this time. No trimming needed and the height seems to be perfect. My back pain was almost gone in less than 24 hours, and now has pretty much disappeared unless I am very tired. I was interested by the additional relief from curling my toes under on the injured leg - apparently I was trying to stabilize things by doing this! I was badly injured in a car accident, and the scar tissue in my knee area caused my leg to shorten abit. My physical therapist suggested (ordered) me to try these lifts. She was right , I am not losing so much energy walking, and my pain is better too. 5
