Tastes Great but Not Cost EfficientThis gigantic container is only supposed to last you about a week. You'll pay about $100 a month to use this stuff if you follow the instructions. It tastes fine and goes down easy and I'd gladly take it regularly if one of these gigantic containers lasted a month. No way I can justify dropping $1,200 a year on chocolate shakes. 2GREAT for my teen daughter..My daughter is high ADHD so has to take medicine during school. While the medicine helps her focus, it also suppresses her appetite and she has been losing weight, slow but sure. She lost enough weight that her doctor said if it keeps up, she'd have to discontinue her medicine. (She's also VERY active in sports so it's doubly hard to keep weight on.) Serious Mass to the rescue! She still gets a regular diet, eats normal meals and snacks but this has helped her stop losing and actually gains a pound or 2 each time she gets a check up. We also drink a few more shakes than usual once the appointment/check up time rolls near just to be sure!My daughter likes the taste but can only handle half a serving, 1 large scoop as opposed to 2 scoops. This seems to work OK as long we are consistent with it... 1 in the AM and we try to do another later PM after dinner.Good stuff and is adjustable for your needs. 5Read this if you want to learn about my experience.I did this as an experiment to see if this would work. To my surprise it worked, but. I didn't use it to its full potential .I'm a very skinny short(5'6)dude who just doesn't like to eat(I can't figure out why). I barley ate around 1000- 2000 per day with the help of MyFitnessPal. I ended up with a minimum weight of 120.There were lots of things i did to ensure i could gain weight with Serious Mass. The "trick"that I used was applying 4-6 Tbs of peanut butter and 3-4 cups of milk(any if fine higher calorie milk is ovbously better) my total 90% of the time was 2300+ calories!!(100g of protein, 330g of carbs,70g of fat). One mistake that i learned was trying to drink it all in one go;this either made me want to throw up everything or immediately pass out and take 3 hour long naps . Another huge mistake about drinking this shake everyday was that my body couldn't eat real food. I was so full for the who day that food made me feel nauseas. I changed the game a bit and decided to drink my "shake"(40+oz of liquid since i had to blend all of it) every 2-3 hours. This method really worked in the end.IN CONCLUSION(since this is taking too long) I've only gained about 12-15 pounds in one month. Im also sure 20%of my weight was on my stomach since it would make me look bloated due to my weak lactose tolerance.P.S. I did work out heavily and i still do (i only have a barbell with 50lbs on it) I did upper and lower body workouts. I think I've gained those "newbie gains" hard. So im sure some of the weight is just normal muscle weight. Anyways hope this helps people 5 stars for sure!! 5Gained 15 Pounds in a Month... NBDIt's probably my favorite mass gainer out there! It's really the only mass gainer i can recommend because Optimum Nutrition is the best protein provider in the world because they own all of the dairy farms. That should tell you everything you need to know for any of product out there that is selling dairy or as most people know it... WHEY! haha I don't use anything other than Optimum protein and if you find something cheap, you can bet your sweet butt that it's tainted, spiked or just a flat out false label.Not only does it contain good whey sources but they care about the science and the carbs and other macro nutrient ingredients are a notch above the competition. Optimum has always been a very quality company like that. No B/S just straight to the real results. It's got a fitting name if you're serious about putting on mass you better get serious mass.& take my advice on Real Muscle. I'm not paid or endorsed in anyway, I've spent 10 years of my life training and I definitely think it's a good combination. 4This product is dangerous and has an overdose of many vitamins over their daily recommended values.Be careful when using this product. After one week, my liver enzymes were elevated extremely high and caused me to have mild fatty liver. I would not recommend this product as my doctor informed me that the high levels of vitamins are not a healthy dose as well as the laundry list of other unhealthy ingredients in this product. Using this product can cause serious damage to your body. 1Best For GAINING MassFirstly , if you are looking for a protein powder that will help you gain LEAN mass, then stop reading right now and look elsewhere. This protein powder is for people like myself who have trouble gaining weight and want to put on some muscle/mass. You also need to make sure you are acut ally working out, if not you'll just gain fat.This stuff is a miracle for skinny guys like me, I've gained 5 -10 lbs in the last few months and that's A LOT for me and has never happen before.The taste is also the best I've ever had, the chocolate is my personal favorite. 5Was able to add on 50 pounds with this.I started taking this supplement soon after I graduated high school and was starting to workout regularly. At the time I was 6' 130 pounds (extremely skinny, I know) and had always had a hard time gaining weight, primarily due to because it was hard for me to get more calories than my body was burning off.When I first started taking this supplement, I was easily gaining about 3-5 pounds a month. I was working out 4-6 days a week and most of the weight I gained was most likely fat, but I was still getting stronger every week. Every serving has over 200g of carbs, which is a crazy amount of carbs, so it gave me plenty of energy that fueled my workouts. Fast forward 2 years, I went from 130 pounds to 180 pounds and sitting at about 18% body fat.Being a college student at the time and also working part time, it was sometimes hard to cook and eat my regular meals, so this was nice because I could just blend this together with some fruit and peanut butter and bring it with my to school or work in a cup. This protein is really thick compared to most regular protein such as whey, mainly because it's over 1000 calories per serving. I know the first couple of weeks I started drinking this protein it was hard to get it down simply because it was so many calories, but eventually I was able to gulp it down like I gulp down water.I would highly recommend this to anyone who has trouble gaining weight or just simply wanting to bulk. I also recommend that you do some form of workout while taking this as to limit the amount of fat you'll be adding on. 5Dinged it one star because if you use the full recommended serving, it is nearly impossible to get it ...If you are looking for GAINZ, look no further. This stuff packs some serious nutrition, albeit in rather large servings. Dinged it one star because if you use the full recommended serving, it is nearly impossible to get it blended to perfection, BUT in my opinion that has to be expected with a supplement that is giving you such large calorie and protein counts. I got the vanilla flavor, which has worked for me because it gives flexibility in making the shake taste how you want (i.e. you want peanut butter flavor..throw some in, you want chocolate flavor, throw some in). You do not have that flexibility with other flavors.Word of warning, this is not for those just looking to get some protein in their diet.
