From Skeptic To Believer!From time to time, I'll find a natural remedy touted as an ancient Chinese secret or revolutionary new homeopathic silver bullet that supposed to compete with controlled, pharmaceutical drugs and give it an honest try for up to three weeks. Sometimes I find results supporting some part of the claim, other times (usually) I don't. This time, to my surprise, I found very noteworthy results.I'm a hard-wired night person with an 8AM - 5PM (or 6PM or 7PM or...) career. I generally had 28 oz of coffee in the morning and 12 more in the early afternoon to keep me going. I often found myself struggling to stay on topic and find the right words to best communicate my message. I would also have those "what was I doing again" and "why did I come into this room" moments more times a day than I cared to admit. Within less than two weeks of taking this product, I was able to cut out back on my morning coffee intake and cut out the afternoon coffee entirely. Because I don't sleep well, I would still feel physically sleepy, but my mind was still alert and engaged. It didn't take long before the lack of afternoon coffee resulted in a better quality of sleep, so now I'm both more alert and energized in throughout the day. I can't tell you the last time I had one of those "alzheimer's moments", and when I have to address several small distractions while taking care of a task, I'm able to get back to that initial task faster. My girlfriend has been taking it as well. Without tell her what I experienced, I asked her if she's noticed anything different since taking Lion's Mane. Her responses were very similar to mine.The product has a light, earthy scent and flavor that works well in coffee and mixed into a variety of foods. Since March 13th, I taken 5 grams every single day: 3 in the morning mixed into my coffee, and 2 in the early afternoon mixed into some yogurt with a little peanut butter. I've read that it works best when steeped, which is why I add it to my coffee (maybe that matters, maybe it doesn't... but it's easy since the coffee's already part of my morning ritual). I also take on a relatively empty stomach along with some "good fats" to help put my brain in a good state to work with the product.In conclusion I found this product delivers desirable results, has a palatable taste, and no undesired side-effects were experienced. I would recommend this product to anyone who is willing to make the investment in their health.5More grain and starch than mushrooms.I've been drinking mushroom teas for Reishi, Chaga and all other mixed teas from Four Sigmatic. Got these Om brand reishi and chaga but this is not mushroom tea. This is more of just full of grain and starch with very little mushroom if any. I tried this since price seems to be a little cheaper but going back to Four Sigmatic. I had wrist surgery in October of 2018 and lost the feeling in half of my left hand. After numbness for a few months, I started taking this daily and after a month or so I regained all the feeling in my left hand! I'm sure it has to do with taking this, because prior to, no feeling was returning and nothing was changing. The taste is pretty unpleasant but the benefits far outweigh the taste. I just mix it with a little hot water to dissolve, mix some cold water in there just enough for a shot, and down it. I'm about to buy my 2nd container.5Good stuff for Pets with Cancer.Was recommended to me by a holistic vet for my 13 yr ShihTzu. He has terminal liver cancer. I started him on this 2 months ago and his white cell count is now normal and red cell is on the higher side of low. He has more energy and looks over all better. We do have him in CBD oil for pain and a Denamarin for liver function but started this turkey tail mushroom supplement approx 3 weeks into the other listed supplements above and yes there was a definite change in him. We started with 1 tsp a day for 3 weeks and now 1/2 tsp a day (divide between meals unless he is off then 1 tsp) I highly recommend. I did notice a slight difference. I thought I'd try the powder because per dose it was less expensive. I have noticed a bigger difference in mental clarity and just overall well-being when using the powder.5Reishi - the way of Chinese medicineThere are 3 great medicinal Reishi products that I use: Ron Teegarden's Four Kings, Paul Stamets My Community and this. The first two are capsules. Capsules are OK, but this is more like a food. I add this to Coconut water in a shaker cup. Tastes like oatmeal, which I guess it is grown in. If you take a Reishi mushroom and boil it it tastes like wood, so this is a nice way to get Reishi without the horrible wood taste (think tea). If you take medicinal mushrooms (Reishi, Maitake, Cordyceps, Chaga, Turkey Tail, etc.) you won't be getting colds and viruses. Also, if you got talked into cancer Chemo or radiation, you need this big time. A steady diet of this will prevent cancer and other diseases. If you go to China, they have two healing tracks, Western Medicine and Chinese Medicine. Chinese medicine involves in many cases daily doses of Reishi, the mushroom of the Emperor.5So easy to take and no bad tasteI got this for my husband who has cancer. We read Many good things so we are getting on the program for his health. I learned that when his white blood could goes down this can help to replenish it. So he is taking 6 grams every day. This is so easy to mix in a smoothe and does not have any bac taste at all. He was taking 12 pills but loves this in the smoothest. On the road to recovery. I just had to add 1 more thing about this. I got sick and my immune system was way low. I decided to take the amount my husband was taking 1 Tablespoon full in a smoothie. I got well much faster than usual. I was over my sickness in just 3 days. I will be taking 1 teaspoon full every day to keep up my immune system. I feel if you are not getting the results you are not taking enough.5Does not provide bioavailable benefitI spoke with the manufacturer after reading that mushroom cellular walls are made from chitin which are not broken down by human digestion. I confirmed that to get the medicinal value you must use an extracted form such as the Host Defense Extrsct line from Fungi.com. Unfortunately the OM products are just powered mushroom. This amounts to false advertising. Let the buyer beware.1
