Product quality was good, but sizing guide ran quite a bit small.Despite what many other reviewers claimed, I found that the product actually ran a bit small and was unable to get them to fit properly. I measured carefully before ordering and thought that I ordered them plenty big enough, but found them to be too small.Calves measured 18" and size chart showed XL to be 18-21",, so they certainly should have fit nicely, but we're very, very tight. 3Very HelpfulI appreciate the support these compression socks have provided during recent travel after recovering from a broken ankle. At the end of the day, after more than six weeks after the injury, I noticed a lot of swelling of the ankle, foot and calf which I found troubling. I now wear these most days and feel much sager from the support. They have also made a big difference when I am flying in that they help mitigate the foot and leg swelling that can accompany flights. 5Very pleased!I really like these compression knee-high stockings. I have previously purchased Truform, but these are practically the same, at a lower price. 5Cute for Toes and CoolerThis version of compression stockings is a little cooler as it exposes toes and therefore, sandals are an attractive shoe choice. However, the absence of closed toes allows the stocking to move and sometimes constrict at the ankle. A little adjustment sets all right again, but be aware that this could occur. The preceding is the reason a 4-star rating was given. The 3-star rating for durability is average and applies to both closed and open-toed compression stockings by this and other makers; the heel gives out LONG before the leg and necessitates replacement LONG before the leg portion. 4Perfect fit, durable.Excellent product, durable, hand washes (ordinary Ivory bar soap) easily in cold water and air dries quickly in the shade. If you wash these in a laundry machine, or if you use laundry detergents, or if you dry them in a dryer or in the direct sun, you might as well go ahead and throw them away..If you use the Jobst 110913 Stocking Donner tool, these stockings slide onto your feet and lower leg very quickly..When I alternate moisturizing my legs and the top of my feet with Ammonium Lactate and/or ALBA moisturizer, these stockings slide on very easy, and there is no skin irritation..If you wear these indoors without shoes or slippers, remember to wear a pair of regular socks over the Nuvein stocking to protect the bottom of the Nuvein stocking from the floor..This is my third pair and I will order them again. The Nuvein is considerably less than the Jobst. 5Good fit, not great qualityI like the fit, but a little disappointed that putting them on for the second time, I could see tiny places that will be holes after the 3rd or 4th wearing. I have chronic lymphedema. I ve been buying 60 mmHg from a specialty place, but I wanted some that are not so heavy duty. I m careful putting them on, I use gloves and don t dig my fingers into the fabric. But these still stretched thin in several areas. 4Good, And Not So GoodI use these compression stockings now for about six weeks and find the material as well the workmanship (fivestars ****). However, the stockings have stretched during this period so that I have to fold the top over twice now to keep them of my knee and bunch up the foot section so that the heel is actually over the heel (hmm). Furthermore, the toe section is not what I have ever seen before: just a balloon shaped , very loose material with no fit around the toes (think duck feet), - funny looking (two stars**). 3Swellings DownI use these stockings because I have a desk job; this causes my legs to swell. I've been using these stockings for a couple of weeks and they work very well. I'm going to buy more. 5sizeEven though I ordered a XXXL size, the stocking wouldn't go past his ankle because it was so small in that area. I previously ordered a different brand in XXL and even though it was a smaller size the stocking could be put on. So we decided to order an XXXL but it's tighter than the other brand XXL. 1Bad fitI ordered the extra large, but they still were very hard to get on, too tight, and they were supposed to be knee highs, the foot was way too long and if pulled up the entire length they came well above the knee. Will not be reordering this product! 1
