Numi teas are goodEnjoyed the taste, easy to make, tried to make it by scratch but it didn't turn out right, taste awful but Numi turmeric tea is delicious,. Will order it again5Love this Chai!I use this in black coffee or Yerba Mate tea while fasting so I appreciate that it has no sugars and only contains spices. A lot of Chai blends have coco or dates in them this blend has none of that.When not fasting I make a latte with my coffee and whip it up with some organic cream and pure stevia...yum!! A little goes a long way!5Five stars for Chai, Four for CocoaFive stars for the chai blend it is excellent. I mix it with almond or coconut milk, no sweetener needed. The cocoa blend isn t quite as good, because I have to mix it with a little honey. Great way to enjoy turmeric.5So deliciousI m a bit of a newbie to turmeric, but I think this is about the most delicious drink I ve had. I warmed up almond milk with a teaspoon of the mix in it until it dissolved and was warm. It was just the right amount of spice and didn t find it unpalatably gritty. It was so delicious.5Not bad, just not what I had in mindAlthough this tea was expensive, I had to try it. Having traveled to India and a lover of Chai and the concepts of Ayurveda... and Numi, I was very curious. A few things: This tea is a powder, good to know because it is both a loose blend with 24 servings. This threw me off originally. Never having had a loose blend from Numi, I probably didn't read that closely and just expected tea bags. Also, loose blend in this case is all powdered spices, so it comes in a bag and you have to withdraw your heaping teaspoon and add it to milk. Again, also helpful to know. Perhaps next time I make it I will boil the milk with the powder in it, bring it to boil/foaming about 3 times till its well blended and add some sweetner (what I learned in India).I do appreciate that I did not have to blend the powder, then again, I am pretty sure I have every single one of those spices and could have easily done so at a fraction of the cost.Another point that feels important is that there is no tea component whatsoever. Usually I expect some form of tea base to flavor the milk. Here there are just spices. I forget if the concept in India is that the Chai is any kind of tea, meaning hot beverage or if typically there would be tea in it... maybe it doesn't matter. Anyhow, in summary, its an idea I love, and having milk with ginger and cardamom is actually pretty good. Think of a milk steamer with cardamom or ginger or both! Pretty nice, actually. And with the positive effects of turmeric. I am just missing the tea component and think it could be nicer with that.Overall, I don't think I would buy it again knowing now what it is exactly. I can blend it with your typical masala chai spice blend plus turmeric at home. But thanks for this medicinal idea.4I love turmeric tea (same brand)I love turmeric tea (same brand). This is a way to start out as you don t have to add all the different spices, just 2T and you good. I added honey, my preference.4Robust and Creamy!The reviews are essentially unanimous that the Numi Tumeric Chai Latte is delicious but over-priced. I bought the latte mix as a treat after ordering the latte at my local Whole Foods market. The flavor is robust and creamy with almond milk and honey. I don't care for the sediment at the bottom of the glass so I may strain the mixture in the future.3
