Helps prevent gout attacksMy husband takes these to help prevent gout attacks, in addition to Allupurinol as prescribed by his doctor. The pills are a little bit large but he is able to take 2 a day. After several months on these plus the prescription meds, he has had only one attack and that was because he forgot his meds for several days. I think if he wasn't on the cherry tablets, he would have had an attack much sooner after going off his meds. 5Gout Gone !!!Been taking 2 capsules in the morning and two in the evening for about 3 weeks. And now I only take 2 in the evening. All I can say is wow!! this stuff really works. I've had over 4 gout attacks per year for the last 15 years and thanks to these black cherry extract pills, my ankles are very happy. 5I guess I have to continue taking it until I can feel its good effect.It will take a while before it is going to be effective. I can feel a little bit of improvement. I guess I have to continue taking it until I can feel its good effect. 3It does really work for gout...For me, at least... These cherry pills does work against gout. Anytime I feel a flare up coming, I take two pills every 4 hours or so and the flare up goes away. I can't guaranteed this will work for you if you have gout because everyone is a bit different. If you have gout, it's worth trying this and see if it works. Eating right and losing weight is still #1 thing to do to minimize gout. For me, weight loss causes gout! Quite a vicious cycle, so these cherry pills help. 5Quality suppliment; good for gout...Over the last year I developed gout, which anyone who has it knows can be extrememly painful. I was told that both cherries and the juice thereof are good to combat the effects of gout if taken regularly. I did this but my stomach (and bowels) couldn't handle the influx of large quanitites of these foods. After some research, i found that Black Cherry suppliments can do the same thing without the stomach problems and so far, it has worked. The pain and swelling from my gout has been kept at bay, or a least to a minimum since i've been taking them. Wish the concentration was a bit stronger though. 4Black Cherry ExtractI have been having problems lately with periods of pain in my feet, ankles and knees. I am an active person and these sharp pains would come on while I was walking and make me cringe and hobble - then go away. I thought I had some kind of sprain, but it came and went with no particular pattern. I had thoughts that I needed to lose weight (I do anyway), maybe I had a sprain of some kind, etc. Then I was reading one day about gout and the symptoms of gout. While gout pain is usually associated with your toes, it can manifest itself in other joints of the body - like the ankles, knees, and wrists. High uric acid in the blood can result in crystals deposited in certain places in the body causing pain. Your body is supposed to excrete uric acid, but if you have a particular body makeup that can't get rid of it all, it can crystallize and appear in a bad place in your body, causing pain. I know I have high uric acid because I get kidney stones. I am supposed to drink lots of fluids but AI am just never thirsty and don't think about drinking water all the time. I like beer and beer can aggravate gout.So, looking for alternatives to drugs, I found out that cherries contain antioxidants called anthocyanins. Proponents of using cherries to treat gout claim these anthocyanins act to reduce the pain and inflammation of gout. I read a lot of reviews from people who have been helped by drinking cherry juice so I thought I would give it a try myself. Not only did I order these tablets, but I also found a black cherry juice concentrate on Amazon that I ordered at the same time. I take these tablets and add some of the cherry juice concentrate to water which I drink along with the tablets. Voila! After only a couple days, I have not had an episode since. This stuff seems to work like magic. Note that just buying cherry juice at the store does not work. The sugary drinks from the major brands on the grocery store shelves have been filtered so they contain mostly the flavoring of cherries and added sugar and have had the needed anthocyanins filtered out. Look for 100% cherry juice from organic sources that is just squeezed cherries and nothing else. Then you know you are getting the stuff with the ingredients you need. I also found cherry juice concentrate on Amazon. You just need to add a tablespoon to water and drink it every day. I am not taking chances - I take these tablets and also drink the concentrate and I have been symptom free for a long time. My local grocery has 100% organic cherry juice in a glass bottle that I also keep around the house and add to cranberry juice or use for bar mixers. This kind of cherry juice is more expensive because it is 100% juice, but in the end, it is the only thing that does its miracle cure. 5I was taking Tramadol for pain. I heard to ...I was taking Tramadol for pain. I heard to try Black Cherry Concentrate.I've been off the Tramadol since November 2017. It works the same asTramadol. (If you don't do anything, you don't have pain, if you do thenyou have pain.) At least I'm off the Tramadol. I have fibromyalgia. 5Use to digest uric acidI had a huge kidney stone a couple years ago that took 4 surgeries to get rid of. I was put on a med that I was supposed to take for life. I don't like putting meds into my body so I researched a natural way to help digest uric acid. I found that back cherry and cranberry help. So I tried it and went back to my doctor. He did a urine test and said I was good, no high levels of uric acid. Then I told him that I stopped his med and was taking the black cherry and cranberry for the past 6 months. He was surprised and admitted that he is not into that approach but his wife is and he understands my switching! I have been kidney stone free since.
