Just a lice combThis doesn't work like advertised. Nice idea but my daughter has super thin hair and the comb barely worked. Might work on someone with thick hair but these monsters really stick to the hair follicle not sure anything will work but your finger nails. 1Buyer BewareVERY DISAPPOINTED in product. The comb does not have very fine teeth. They are NOT woven tightly together therefore it does NOT WORK WELL. The red indicator light never or failed to flash, therefore a shock was never dispensed.Wal-Mart offers one with light, finely woven metal teeth, a plastic disposal bag, indicator light and vacuum.Negative- It is $40.00 double the price of this one.Positive- The product does have a bright light great for inspecting and searching. It is compact and came with a triple A battery. 2Very disappointed.Received comb today, I can see the Nits on my hair but the comb doesn t detect them. Very disappointed. 1Doesn t always workThe idea was great, but it combed right over the live louse and the louse still lived happily ever after . I had to handpick it, which sort of defeats the purpose. 3Do not waste your time or moneyThis didn't work at all!!! I wasted so much time using this. Ended up having to hire a professional to get the lice out and she used a "Terminator Comb" and the difference was unbelievable! 1Works great!It worked great but I didn't ever hear it beep so I'm hoping that meant there were no live bugs and the teeth are very close together so I'm sure it removed any nits that remained. Thank you! 5Not good at getting small liceI haven t caught as many as I did with an older one. I do like that it has a light on it and that it lights up if it hits something. I think the teeth are just too far apart to be efficient. 2I would not recommend this product to anyone.It doesn't work. Not at all. My neighbor's daughter got lice from schoolmates and we tried this product based on the reviews. This has become a paper weight. The battery compartment was unbelievably difficult to open, we thought we were going to break it trying to open it. It does not appear to be on. It never made a sound. It does not work. Why would they sell this. I would not recommend this product to anyone. 1Does detct lice but does not destroy themIt does detect when you have lice or nits but it does not destroy them on contact. You still need a metal comb to comb out the lice and nits. 2Super disappointed BUYER BEWAREThis product is mialeading. It does not het anything out at all. Buy combs and a vacuum. I want to return this dumb thing. Ite just a lice detector but if you accidentally touch it thwn you will see its nothing . dont waste your money like i did. Im super disappointed 1
