Grew moldy fast!I had these for 10 days. I kept them in a cool dark place as instructed with the bag fully sealed. I ate a couple of them this morning then looked in the bag and saw white fuzzy stuff. I'm REALLY grossed out that I ate moldy food (if it's next to the moldy food then it has mold spores). And I'm sick, was hoping the superfood would help, not hurt, my body. I'm really dissapointed.1Batches VaryThe first time I bought this it was like a heaven in my mouth, so good! I could not understand the bad reviews. The next time I was so excited I could not wait and checked the mail 3 times. It tasted like sh&*#@! Awful! I would agree with the review saying it tasted like top soil but it is worse. They gave me my money back but now how can I trust the next batch will not be terrible as well :(1I ordered this last month and liked the taste of it so I added this as ...I ordered this last month and liked the taste of it so I added this as part of my monthly subscriptions. Upon my 2nd order I opened it and found a piece of balloon inside! (See attached pic). I had to trash it and remove it from my monthly subscription, am pretty grossed out by this.1MoldLoved the taste. Went to feed one to my child and found mold on them. Also found the chemical warning on the bag. Why is something organic with a chemical warning?1Harmful ingredient warning on label but tasted greatTrying to eat healthier I purchased these and to my delight they were like little bites of joy wrapped by heaven. So I'm reading the back of the package being all proud for eating healthy when I read, ingredients known by California to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm - wth???? So much for healthy. Now I asked the question about labeling a week before posting this review in the hopes the company would reply and explain but no response so I'm putting at 3 stars until I can understand what's harmful in this "healthy" snack.3Helpful to find a gluten free, relatively low sugar, shelf-stable snackI purchased power snack because I was looking for a shelf stable snack to keep in my desk at work. I typically eat 3-4 of these for breakfast and the bag lasts the whole week. I've had a hard time finding shelf stable, gluten free snacks that aren't full of sugar substitutes or ingredients that I can't recognize. They're satisfying and filling. They do have kind of weird grainy texture, but it's not very noticeable with coffee. They are not overly sweet, and they kind of remind me of a fig newton. Last I checked, power snack makes three flavors: Blueberry, which is the mildest and my favorite, Cacao Goji, which has a almost chocolatey sweetness, and Citrus which has a strong flavor of citrus zest and is my least favorite but still ok.As an aside, the other alternatives I've found in this category are the protein-packed KIND bars, but those still tend to be really high in sugar.I love that I can get these on subscribe and save for about 60% of the price charged at my local Whole Foods and recommend these to anyone looking for a convenient, healthy, tasty snack.4Birth defects and reproductive harm warning on bagOn the back of the bag, on the bottom, it says, "WARNING: This product contains a chemical known to the state of California to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm."1My favorite snack, whether healthy or not!My favorite snack!! I am a pretty thin gal and I am picky and vegetarian...yiko, I am kind of a pain ;) I absolutely love chocolate and I love that I found Navitas! These do not contain any processed sugar and they taste great! I eat them all of the time and I love the way I feel after eating them. I feel energized and they give me that perfect fill for in between meals!!5so disgustingI am not a picky eater when it comes to ultra-healthy foods (if it's really healthy, vegetarian, and edible, I'll give it a go) and most of the food I eat is whole/unprocessed (lots of cacao products...) but these Superfood Power Snacks are seriously disgusting. The texture is decent out of the bag and it looks pretty good (like a fudgy brownie) but the minute you put in your mouth, all heck breaks loose. Once you start chewing and the bits of the cube start coming apart in your mouth the illusion of edible goes out the window.The only way I can describe this is that it seems like a compressed cube of stringy mealy raisins/dates with bird seeds mixed in. The seeds get a weird texture the minute they hit your mouth and start absorbing moisture and turn slimy, so you're left with raisin skin and something akin to boogers (my husband described it that way, not me) in your mouth and teeth until it all gets so overwhelming you have to go and thoroughly floss and brush your teeth.Take this review with a grain of salt- other people LOVE these. But if you're looking for a little, healthy chocolate kick that's sort of a cross between a healthy granola/whole foods bar and some trail mix and that doesn't take like fruit cake that someone stepped on and then picked off from under their shoe after walking around with it under there for a while, keep looking. *shudders*1High quality, energy brain food. Fantastic ingredients!Seriously my most favorite snack IN ALL OF THE LAND. High quality ingredients, organic everything, just top of the line clean. These help my cravings for sugar and keep me satiated at work before lunch. I snack on NOTHING ELSE because I just love the quality and only trust this brand. I can also immediately feel a burst of energy after only having two bite sizes--there is a plethora of superfoods in here that I value for my everyday needs and lifestyle. I love this quality so much that I have signed up for auto shipment (I have nothing else auto-shipped here on Amazon except for this...)....THAT'S HOW MUCH I LOVE THESE. A true avid and devoted customer, not paid or asked to make this review. I just wanted to share my love for it with everyone else. If you're hesitant, don't be. Blueberry is a brain food (helps you with mental focus) and hemp is the cleanest source of plant protein. Just don't take all of these, I want to consume them for myself :) Lastly, I wanted to try and make these myself but decided quickly that it would be dumb. The only reason why I like making my own food is because I trust my ingredients more than packaged stuff----but the ingredients on here are so clean and organic that there isn't a need for me to recreate a better version. These are already clean and don't have any nasty preservatives. Precisely why these are the only packaged "snack" that I purchase. Thanks Navitas for keeping it real and for valuing what I value.5
