REMEMBER TO SWEETENI was very curious about Matcha tea, so once it arrived, I must admit, i was nervous to try it. I finally got up the courage, so when i opened the bag i was suprized to see how fine the powder is. Here's the cool thing...a scoop comes in the package too! Now, Matcha DNA says how to prepare the tea right on the bag. You can use water for thinner tea or milk for a creamier, thicker one. I had to take Matcha, so I made a cup with water. Oh wow, as is, it was very bitter for my tastebuds. But wait!!! The instructions say "sweeten to taste", and I missed it!!! Ok, so now that i know to sweeten it, i tried again, using local raw honey to sweeten the Matcha. OH WOW, THAT'S GOOD!!! The difference is incredible!!! This tea is delicious! And I am quite intrigued with the history of it.5garbage quality, even for the priceI bought some upper-mid tier matcha before, but I wanted to drink it frequently without spending a lot per ounce. I figured I would buy a couple of the larger bags with good reviews to see how they compared. I pre-warmed a couple shot glasses, then poured exactly 1/2 teaspoon of matacha into each, then filled them up with 89 c water. Sugar and Almond milk helps with the adaptation process. Because of the bitterness Matcha can give you nausea if you have it on an empty stomach, specially early in the morning.5Very Good!I liked that it provided information and a bit of history about the product, they also provide a scoop so I didn't have to use my own. It's very easy, just boil up the water and mix this in with it. Even in powder form, it still tastes like a good cup of green tea.5
