Trusted by a RN/new mama!!Our pediatrician suggested we start using Biogaia with our newborn. After finishing one tube of it, I decided to look to see what else was on the market for probiotics since I didn't mind adding Vitamin D separately for our baby. When I purchased this, there were only a few reviews, and it happened to be right after our 3 month old caught the flu bug of 2018. Not only did this help boost his immunity, but it quickly regulated his bowels as well. I finished our first box, and decided to try Upspring probiotics + colostrum. Unfortunately, we also stared our son on solids at the same time since he was showing all signs of readiness and eagerness to eat. While on Upspring, he would go 2-3 days without a bowel movement, despite still feeding on breastmilk and solids. As a RN, we do not like even slightest signs of constipation, especially for a baby! I quickly decided to start giving him Lovebug again, and that SAME DAY, he had 2 bowel movements! Needless to say, we returned the Upspring brand and will continue to only use Lovebug. The only downside I can think of is that the only Lovebug stage sold at Target is 12 months+. Please bring all the various stages to our local Target! 5Better price with same results as evivo.Love these probiotics! Was using a much more expensive brand that had to stay refrigerated or frozen and while I liked them, my baby often spit up immediately after I would give him the dose, and at almost $2.00 per dose I just felt like he wasn t getting all the benefits if he couldn t keep them probiotics in his system. Since I started him on the Lovebig tiny tummies he has not spit them up and seems to be doing quite well. His poops are regular, he is rarely gassy and when he is, he doesn t seem like he s in pain- he actually laughs! I can t say he is less fussy than before as he s always been a very happy little guy. I also liked that this brand has 5 strains which includes the b. Infantis strain as he is breastfeeding. 5Wish I could give 10 starsI have only been using it a few days with my 13 month old (using the 12+ version), and impressed with what I have seen so far! He kept waking up at night, stomach hard, and giving him gas drops seemed to help but why did a 13 month old need gas drops? He seemed fine during the day- I figured when he was moving he was working the gas out by crawling and toddling.He has always had...(sorry, TMI) very smelly gas and BMs. Like, man who ate 3 meals a day at Taco Bell for a week. But we tried other changes and saw no improvement and when we asked the pediatrician, she said if he wasn't in pain, it was totally normal.I started looking into probiotics and loved that this had several strains linked to health improvements (research proven or investigating) and I was impressed by the individual packets (I mean, yeast can be sold in a packet, so as long as you add to cool liquid, it will work.)Warning (baby TMI ahead) But the results are what have me...we haven't even had him on it a week and I felt compelled to go ahead and review. This is amazing. His night time waking is GREATLY reduced already- he woke up once for just a few minutes last night which as a mama, is amazing compared to what he has been doing. His tummy is no longer tight at night. His gas is so much better- still not smelling like roses, but I am not one of those moms that think their baby's farts smell like gold lol. His BM has slightly changed but it seems to be for the better.I wish I could give 10 stars, honestly. 5Magic in a packet!!My newborn grandson (3 weeks at this writing) has suffered with silent reflux. (Runs in the family..sigh) He is breastfed baby so I thought he might escape the "curse of bad tummy's" but sadly it started in about age 4 days. The pediatrician prescribed Zantac which worked wonders for my first born grandson but not so for this little guy...In fact it seemed to make it worse. So I got on and started doing my research, narrowing it down to 3, eventually deciding on this one, mainly because it's one packet per day. So easy...no measuring! This has been a god send! I had it delivered right to their doorstep and they give it at the 8:30 feeding with breastmilk in a bottle. He slept from 9-1 and then nursed and went right back down for 3 more hours. First 7 hours of sleep they had had in weeks. He's been on it for about 5 days now, with only one night where he didn't sleep as long, but no distress. So, I will give it another couple of weeks and then it will definitely be on auto ship for him. You have nothing to lose so give it a try!! 5Game ChangerSince birth our breastfed baby has been extremely gassy with no improvement from mommy diet modifications and only minor improvements with gas drops, massage, and gas passed devices. Desperate to help him we decided to try these and SO glad we did. Days 2-4 yielded more gas as the bacteria in his gut was changing but by day 5 our 8wk old is finally taking 2-2.5hr *solid* naps...no longer waking up screaming with gas pain! If your at your wits end with a gassy baby, try this product! 5Love it!I purchased to try and relieve some of my infants reflux and colicky behavior. We've only been using it for a week but he is already a much happier baby, his reflux has improved but still has some, and has even slept 6 hours at night a few times-hes 8 weeks old. He also stopped pooping constantly, he's breastfed, and now usually just has one large poop in the morning.*Another update, after using all of our first box I wanted to see how baby would do without it and he's back to arching and restless sleep. Ordered my second box and putting him back on it immediately. 5Pretty amazing changes in my toddler!I purchased this for my 2 yr 10 month old granddaughter who struggles with a very compromised immune system, constantly sick. My hope was that it would help her to not be constantly sick from her daycare. Well at two weeks in, she's doing great and also something rather amazing has occurred. Her behavior has dramatically improved to be much more congenial and she has begun talking a great deal more. Coincidence? My son is a holistic nutritionist who attributes this solely to this probiotic. He said he had never seen the variety of important strains in a probiotic before and he knows a lot about probiotics. So we are super-pleased and grateful to have found this product! 5Flat tummy and healthier toddler!Been using this since my daughter is a year old and she s now 2 1/2 years old. My daughter wont take chewables or gummies so this is definitely a lifesaver for us! I believe it really helps her immune system because she barely gets sick since she started taking this. I also noticed the drastic change of her stomach, she s not bloated anymore. I put it in her water bottle that she drinks while eating breakfast and she wont even notice the taste. Definitely recommended! 5Good value, good results.I really like these probiotics. Like all baby probiotics, they are a little on the pricey side, but they are definitely more reasonably priced than some of the other options on the market. I started giving these to my daughter when she was around 3 months old and I purposely gave her the ones for 6-12 month olds because it had a greater variety of bacterial strains in greater quantities. I just split each serving packet over about 4 days since it had 4x the number of bacteria than the one for 3 months olds that I had used prior. As far as their effectiveness, my baby's colic/fussiness/gas/crying seems to have stopped completely. She still spits up very frequently but she seems to be a "happy spitter" now, whereas before she had symptoms of very painful reflux. Its hard to tell, but I do feel like these probiotics had abig impact on helping her to go from inconsolably crying to the happy little girl she is now. I'm definitely going to be purchasing these probiotics again. 5Changed our lives!!Our EBF 8 week old had having horrible stomach and gas pains since he was born. He would scream in pain for hours at a time- it wasn t a constant colic cry, but burst of crying out/screaming. We would use the Windi, massage his stomach, and nothing helped for any period over 5-10 minutes. His stomach would be hard and his belly button was destensed. We started these at the 8 week mark after our pedi recommended them. After 3 days, we have a completely different baby. No gas pain, barely any crying, has no trouble with BM s. Witching hour does not exist in our house. We had previously tried Mommy Bliss brand probiotic drops and it did not help. It is worth pumping every day to give him 1 bottle with the powder packet in it. Two weeks in and these seriously changed our lives. 5
