Well worth the $$!These macaron were packed with flavor and delicately baked so they literally melt in your mouth !The handwritten note, the careful packing and the attention to detail is really what sets this apart from any other order of French patisseries.I bought this for myself but will definitely be buying future gifts for friends and family.5Waste of moneyI bought this product based on the reviews but i really have to question whether or not these people have ever actually tried fresh macarons or maybe i just got a really off batch.First of all, I ve been eating macarons for years. Before they became super popular and i lived off the damn things while in France (along with beef tartar and wine of course). Nearly 3/4 of my box were stale and incredibly hard, to the point where it was hard to bite and impossible to eat.Secondly, My macarons didn t match any of the descriptions pictured in the included flavor card which isn t a huge deal, except when you bite into the one that tastes like tooth paste.Lastly, macarons should be delicate and flavorful. These were neither. What a waste of money. Most of them went in the trash.1Excellent quality, taste, and attention to detail!Excellent quality and attention to detail. These macarons are packaged well. They need to be refrigerated as soon as received, which is listed on the packaging.The flavor variety is nice. The cookie to filling ratio of the macaron is absolutely perfect. I will definitely order again. This would make lovely gifts for the holidays.If I have anything negative in my review, it is that I would like for the flavor description sheet in the package to have actual images instead of a color bar next to each flavor. Some of the colors are hard to match with their corresponding flavored macaron.5A treat you must try...Living in a food desert, there are no fresh bakeries around. Highly recommend!5Heavenly box of goodness!!!!I have tried many macaroons in my life but I must say that Leilalove's are by far the best I have ever had. First, the seller is super sweet and cares about her customers! With my absolutely gorgeous box, I received cute and personal note, thanking me. The macaroons are out of this world. Even though each one of them is individually wrapped, when I opened the box, my entire kitchen filled out with fresh smell of cookies. My husband and I ate half a box in the very first sitting! They are beyond delicious and Soooo pretty. I will be ordering some more as soon as I finish this review!!!! Very highly recommended!5Yummy macaronsI have seen macarons before but never tried them until now and I love them. They are fresh when I opened the box and they taste good. I'm the kind of person who enjoys cookies, pastries and other baked goods. I bought this for myself but this is something I would consider giving to friends and family. The cookies came in a beautiful box for presentation. After the cookies are gone the box can be saved to store other things and is decorative and not a throwaway. My only con is this is kind of expensive, but this will be much appreciated as a gift. I would buy this again next time if I have a chance. The different colors are fun to look at and I enjoy trying the different flavors.4Very disappointingBased on the reviews, I ordered these for myself and also for my son in Seattle for Christmas. Just found out his was undeliverable. I am so relieved. Mine arrived yesterday and I was very disappointed. The outer shells crumbled and the inner filling was very hard. Also had a very medicine-y taste. I had to throw them away. Not sure if they were old or what. I was going to email my son to let him know this definitely was not representative of a true macaron since he had never tried one before. At least now I don't have to do that. The cookies arrived individually wrapped, and then packed in bubble wrap, and not one of these delicate masterpieces were damaged. Each flavor is better than the last (although my favorite tend to be pistachio/rose/lavender), and the flaky goodness of each bite makes me grin from ear to ear. The fillings are equally delicious and each cookie is simply beautiful.To make things even better, my two boxes arrived with a personal and handwritten note of thanks, which felt genuine and special.I am a happy customer, and one who will purchase again and again!(It's worth noting that my macarons arrived about 30 minutes ago, and in that time, my husband, my two sons, and I have devoured about 6 of them and I raced to post this review). Highly recommend!5Outstanding!Wow! I have to start with the flavors...amazing! Great variety, the flavors and texture of these macaroons are absolutely wonderful. The blueberry lavender is a favorite so far. Not to mention they came much earlier than expected and the packaging was very well thought out and secure, I didn t have a single broken macaroon. The customer service was also great, it s not often that you get a hand written note with ANYTHING that you order online. I will definitely be ordering again and telling others how great these are.
