THIS PRODUCT SOLVED MY OSTOMY LEAKAGE ISSUES...I was having considerable leak issues with various ostomy pouch products. I have basically solved such problems with this item used under my platform but placed over the stoma itself. Steps: 1. Just easily cut out your stoma size area for discharge and apply this self-adhesive patch over stoma (after using a skin wipe). 2. Then apply a self-adhesive platform with a large stoma opening on top of the patch (any exposed skin being protected by the 4x4 bandage area which can usually stay in place for up to 4 days usage). I personally use a 2 pc. pouch system with a pre-formed 2 3/4" opening convex platform and snap-on pouch with clamp drain. Considerable tips can be found at the Ostomyland group on facebook.
