Showing higher numbersUnfortunately I bought a large quantity of these and spent a lot of money on a product that is not reliable. I compared this test strip to the one my local pharmacy dispensed and to the lab work at the hospital with the same drop of blood for all three and this test strip showed considerably higher numbers. That s a big deal when my son s issue is hypoglycemia and 15 point difference is huge in terms of his treatment. I will not be buying these again.1Can't recommend it! Malfunctioning test strips!This company makes sure that 2-5 strips are always malfunctioning in each of their batches! It's super aggravating! I mean these things are an arm and a leg! So nothing makes me grumpier than wasting my money without it being my fault! I know how to use a test strip. So it's not user error. I really hate this company! I need to try another.1Not AccurateI tested my self at the doctors office with the Freestyle meter and he then tested me at the same but sent the sample to the lab. The Freestyle meter was 15 points lower than the hospital lab result. I contacted Freestyle who informed me that the test strips I had were not for use in the U.S.A.They acknowledged that the strips are the same world wide but questioned the storage and shipping of these strips en route to the U.S.A.1Not very accurateI've actually bought this a couple of times, but I feel like I outsmarted myself because even though the price was right, the accuracy as not. I knew the container I got was yellow, but the sticker looked legit on it, and I figured that even though it was for a different country that the contents would measure the same. Well, guess what, they don't. My readings were consistently high and even after making a lot of modifications to my diet, they continued to be really high. I broke down and bought some test strips at the higher cost at my pharmacy, and guess what? The readings was totally different, as in the number of the reading was over 50 points higher on these. 50 points!!!, not a good thing. If you have to monitor blood sugar, pay the extra money and get the ones manufactured for this country. I peeled the label back on the yellow bottle, and the language under it was German. BTW, the expiration date was 2020. I'll just have to bite the bullet and pay the extra and get test strips that measure blood sugar accurately.1Not for sale in USA?!?!?Not sure how I feel about the 2 sharpie marks on the box of text strips I received that appear to be a weak attempt to cross out the words Not for sale in USA . Did I mention that I live in the USA?3Good or bad, not sureThis product has a sticker covering the front of the box, it s similar to the one I ve bought before but the few differences make me think is fake, also the product states Not for sale in USA 1UntrusworthyThese test strip were very untrustworthy, the picture on the far left is the untrustworthy one as it has a yellow bottle, the one to the right is the one that has the Abbott log and is the one I have been buying for years. The readings fluctuated constantly, too high or too low. I had to check with some I bought from an outside vendor not and I've had some problems buying it from Amazon recently. I ended up stopping using these test strip. The bottle did not look like the one I purchased before, which has the Abbott Logo and made me suspicious. I could not return these as I was out of the country1Repackaged. Kind of suspicious.Arrived in box that did not match picture. Repackaged at another pharmaceutical with "new" labels covering "old" labels indicating these strips were for use with a different type of meter. Tested a few strips and they indicated my blood sugar was 50- 60 points higher than with my properly labeled test strips from the drug store.1These seem very inaccurateJust got these and the packaging was different than the ones I got from the local Pharmacy. Hi level test solution showed 73 on them compared to 137 on my other meter. Also, compared to my other meter with an actual blood test, they read @ 20-25 pts low. Definitely suspect fakes1Scam - Knock off does not work!These strips are worthless. They are a knock off and they are not accurate at all. Do not bother with them.1
