Protect Those Ears!I've been to many concerts in my life, so I'm quire familiar with the post-performance ringing symptoms. The last concert I attended was Coldplay at American Airlines in Dallas a few years ago, and it was LOUD, even by my standards. The post-concert "deafness" lasted much longer than any previous occurence, so when I planned to attend their concert at AT&T Stadium on Aug 27, 2016, I knew I'd better take precautions. Having heard of these earplugs but not knowing which size I needed, I ordered the Universal Fit pack; it turns out the large plugs were the correct ones for me. These plugs worked great! As before, Coldplay's sound system was cranked, and I could feel the sound pressure, but my ears were protected. The music came through quite clearly, and I thoroughly enjoyed the performance. A further "plug" for this product is that many musicians wear them. I highly recommend these plugs - remember, lost hearing capacity is never regained, so protect yours!5These will probably save my hearingI decided to look for these after leaving a night club with ringing ears. Top 5 decision ever!Pros:- They do EXACTLY what they say they do. The allow you to hear the sound without letting in all the ear-shattering noise AND let you hear conversation from people near you.- At no point did it feel like they'd fall out of your ear.- The carrying case lets you easily bring them along in your pocket.Cons:- Since things sound relatively quiet in your ears, you may need to talk louder than you think so people around you can hear you over the surroundings.- It doesn't stop bass vibrations, so the initial feeling of the bass of the music still hits you and it can be weird feeling the vibrations without hearing the music that loud. Less of a con and more of a notice.5Don't block soundThese were absolutely worthless. I bought these for my children, my wife and myself for a Trans-Siberian Orchestra concert and they did not work at all. We were sitting in the "nose-bleed" section, far from the speakers, and I could not tell any difference between having the earplugs in my ears or out of my ears. They were also very uncomfortable. My poor boys spent the whole time with their hands over their ears. Sadly, we had to leave before the performance was over because my children were miserable and the earplugs had hurt their ears. Later that week, I went to a movie and gave these earplugs a second chance. After 15 minutes, I threw them away. They do not block sound and they hurt. When I got home, I threw the other three pairs away. And come on, 11dB of attenuation??? The foam earplugs I use for sleeping are 29dB. Next time I will just use those.1Perfect for ConcertsPerfect for Concerts! I bought the 2-pair for an indoor concert I was attending with my daughter. Concerned about hearing damage, I decided on these based on previous reviews. They are easy to insert and never fell out. My daughter fidgeted with them a lot, but I think that is due to her age more than anything. We could still hear the concert perfectly well, but to hear each other had to put our mouth right next to the other person's ear. I would recommend these without hesitation and plan to use them again and again.5not sure what to expect, but these are very powerfulThese definitely block sound while maintaining clarity. However, they're almost too strong, if that can be a complaint. The couple of shows where I used them, I kept switching between having them on and taking them off. These will work if you're directly in front of a huge speaker. At loud shows of a medium-smallish size capacity I found myself taking these out in order to still hear well.5Protect your hearing!For too long I always thought if it's too loud, you're too old. Well do yourself a favor and get a decent pair of earplugs for concerts, festivals etc.The white pair is a little larger, so it works great for me. The blue pair is a little smaller, so it works well for my girlfriend.5Great for live eventsI work a lot of live events and concerts and these things are great. I can still very clearly hear what I need to for my cues, but does not allow the sound to damage or hurt my ears. They fit very securely, even when sweating, so you do not have to fight with them. The carry case is also very convient to keep them untangled in your bag or pocket. I highly recommend this product for anyone who is frequently around loud environments.5A small price to pay to preserve hearingIf you enjoy concerts with any regularity, you should invest in a set of attenuators. I have seen several rock concerts using these. They turn the sound down to a reasonable level without the annoying muffling effect of foam AND you can still converse with your mates without screaming... you will also hear them singing along, though. I know, crazy, right? Totally true.5They do the #1 thing they need to do- they ...They do the #1 thing they need to do- they prevent ear damage. I jammed with two very loud bands this week and my ears weren't ringing at all afterwards. Things do not sound crystal clear, though- I emailed the company about that and they responded quickly with suggestions which I'm trying out. (angle them in a certain direction etc)5Works like a charm!I used these ear plugs today for the first time and they work! I ordered the standard pair and the large pair together as a packaged deal. Not sure which is which but the white pair fit more comfortably for me than the blue pair. Anyway, depending on how you adjust the ear plugs once they're in your ear (as well as the amount of wax in your ear or lack thereof) you'll get the sound quality and comfort level you want. I did several re-adjustments before I found mine (also, they never fell out my ear nor did I push them in too deep). I also took the ear plugs out to see how loud my surroundings were for comparison (I went to the movies and both the previews and the movie itself were pretty damn loud). So glad I bought these! I can finally go to the movies (and hopefully to a concert) without damaging my hearing! I'm also gonna use these on the go because I can't stand sirens, trains, construction, etc. Too damn loud!5
