Not as convenient as we thought.This product seemed be great for about a week, but now it seems like the food product is separating from the water in the pack.. I thought maybe this was just a one off issue so after I drained most of the water off in the sink, I was left with a very thick mash.. I discarded that one off to the trash, grabbed a second one and shook it just incase. Now this product says nothing about shaking it prior to use but I figured I'd try. Well after shaking it for about a minute I opened it and this time squeezed it into a bowl and the same thing happen a large amount of water came out.. my problem with this product is, it says on the pack just squeeze and serve right out of the pouch. So I mixed it in a bowl and started feeding my child but it continued to separate. The other products we've bought seem to be fine but this one is not so convenient. 3smells and tastes really bad. HoweverAdult review: smells and tastes really bad. However, this is the first baby food that I gave to both my sons when they started eating solids at 6 months of age. My sons are now 3 1/2 and 15 months and this still is their favorite flavor of pouches. They devour it, they have one almost everyday for a light snack (35 calories). There are not many organic pouches in the market that are just vegetables, so I am happy that my kids enjoy this one. Everyone tastes are different and in my family this is a keeper. 5Pouches had puncture holes!I've ordered these a few times for my twins. I liked them because they were all vegetables. Unfortunately the last package came with puncture holes in the bottom of most pouches (4 of 6). There is no way I will feed these to my babies!! The box didn't look tampered with. Please see photo. Previous orders had no issues. 2Delightful! Adult with health issues found this as great solution!I m an adult with physical disabilities. TMJ prevents me from chewing. Hypoglycemia request that I eat every two hours. Frequently have NO desire to eat. This product is perfect solution & taste great! 5Fantastic Iron Content!My son had low iron levels at his 9 and 12 month checkups. The doctor put us on an iron supplement but it gave him terrible tummy aches, so we ditched it in favor of an iron-rich diet. This stuff has been a lifesaver because it's got a daily value of 30%! He doesn't like the taste of the contents alone, so we mix this with yogurt and fruit and he likes it just fine. We manage to get him to eat one of these pouches a day using this method.If you're little one needs more iron, I'd definitely recommend this. Also try Happy Baby Probiotic Oatmeal (which has a ton of iron in it too) and hemp protein powder (sounds gross but a little mixed in with food is nearly tasteless). 5Super travel food!I am so happy with this purchase. My little girl is on the GAPS diet and usually doesn't eat any of these ready made foods. We recently took an overseas trip and I needed some travel options of food for her. While these are factory processed and not 100% ideal for GAPS, they were a great travel option. Made from organic, pure, ingredients these were quite trustworthy for her sensitive gut. I loved the soft pouches and the twist caps which made feeding time so neat. No spoon necessary! Just suck and enjoy! 5Healthy snack option for those unexpected hunger painsOur 16 month old daughter likes these--doesn't love them. She prefers sweeter fruit pouches (don't many of us). However, having these savory pouches helps to make me feel a little better about giving her pouches in the first place. We like to eat fresh, while foods in our family, so we don't love giving our daughter these pouches too frequently. However, we keep them in the car and stroller for those times when she is unexpectedly hungry and needs something substantial on her little tummy.At about 16 months old, she has started being able to eat these on her own without me having to squeeze them out for her she still can't get the food from the very bottom of the pouch because it folds where she holds it and cuts off auction. She doesn't know how to push the food up, so I have to help her with the last little bit. Otherwise, she's independent. Again, she's had minimal exposure to the pouches so a kid who has daily or more frequent exposure may be more efficient with them.Unlike some of the sweeter, fruitier pouches, this food doesn't dribble or drip out of the opening when my daughter shakes the pouch. Maybe a drop here or there, but not a total mess. I like that this mixture stays relatively contained with my daughter moves about.As with most of these pouches, the size of the top does make me nervous about it being a choke hazard. It's not a solid piece of plastic, so she could probably get it through the vents if it became lodged in her throat. I'd love a different design for the top though. I'm always dropping things and sometimes don't realize I've dropped something until my daughter picks it up nd puts it in her mouth. 5Butternut Squash/Pear - Great product, daughter loves it!Received the product as advertised, no issues with product, expiration date, damage, etc. My daughter loves the butternut squash & pear mix, this is one of her favorites :) Out of all the baby food puree pouch brands Earth's Best has consistently been top quality in my experience. My daughter has some food allergies, we've tried a lot of different brands & flavor combinations and highly recommend this one. Price is good too. I can sometimes get them slightly cheaper at Target when they're on sale, but the convenience of having them shipped for me beats saving $.10/pouch. 5Kids love it but cost is outrageousI have been getting this through subscribe and save for a year, just noticed that my next order was going to be $110 for the 2 boxes. Not sure what this is about, but I can't believe that is allowed. The product is great and my daughter still loves this one for a snack, but I gave it one star in hopes to draw attention to the price. 1Please switch to the clear packagesMy son seems to really like this flavor. My only complaint is they have not switched to the clear packages like most other companies. You cannot see the food before your child starts eating if you re giving them the whole pack to eat on the go unless you squirt some out. Just a minor issues as 99 percent of the time they re fine but I ve seen where some have gotten moldy or rotten ones due to other opening them or a defective seal, this hasn t happened to me thankfully. 4
