Customer Reviews

Good start into looking for decent athletic tape.I purchased these wraps in order to perform weightlifting movements such as the clean while using the hook grip. I would wrap this product around my thumbs during workouts and after using it a few times, I can say they are pretty good. There are a few times where I had to pull the wraps back down my thumbs since they were slipping a bit but not to an extent where I would have to re-wrap them after a few reps. They were also put into good use when dressing a wound on my hand. I used these wraps to keep the gauze in place which did a great job.Other pros include:- Different colors to change up the appearance if that is important to you- No sticky adhesive except when it sticks to itselfOverall, after using this product the past few weeks, I would definitely recommend it!4helped keep my dog from licking his injured nail!I used this tape to keep my dog from licking a broken nail with exposed quick. He previously escaped 3 cones and nearly strangled himself doing so. Then he got lick granulomas around his foot. We got his foot wrapped at the vet with similar tape which was supposed to last several days, but he'd get it wet and then he would need to be be brought back to the vet for a new bandage. It was getting very expensive. A friend mentioned "vet wrap" to me and i searched Amazon and found this product. And thank goodness i found it. I use Baby Gap socks (size 12-24 months) as an inner liner and then wrapped the tape carefully around his paw area first (blue tape in the photo i posted). Then i take a second piece of tape (red tape in the photo) and wrap from just below the "elbow" downwards, overlapping the paw tape. I change it after every walk and wait until his paw is dry before i retape it.After several weeks, my dog's toe healed - it takes a long time for a nail to grow back in and to cover the quick. The lick granulomas dried up even faster because he wasn't able to re-lick them. And i still have more than half of this tape left. i only wish i had found out about it right after my dog hurt his toe.The only downside to this stuff is that it outgases a bit and has an odor. I have no idea if comparable wrap does this as well.4Great for home and healthcare usageYeah...I bought this for me and my rabbit. It seems like a lot but technically 30 of these rolls cost less here than buying 3 of them in single-packs in stores. Like the 3M product, they have the ability to form a compression bandage without the need of adhesives, making a more comfortable bandage when such an application is desired.I think these are great for wounds with a longer-duration of healing given daily usage of an adhesive will ultimately cause the surrounding skin to become irritated or wounded and this can reduce the need for adhesives or outright eliminate them, and this style bandage allows more surface area to be used for holding a dressing, greatly reducing skin irritation (hence my preference of this for rabbits as they have very sensitive skin).I also like these for emergency trauma kits that have a trauma pad and hemostatic dressing like QuickClot as this can be used to secure the bandage with pressure and self-application of these are very, very simple. Also, since these are INDIVIDUALLY wrapped, it opens a lot more doors for personal and medical usage as you do not have to worry about cross-contamination.So these are a bargain at twice the price IMO!5Excellent Value for Such a Handy ItemI use these all over. I have a box in the tack room for the horses, in case of injury. They're great to wrap around a bandage to keep it in place! I have another box in the house for chicken, dog and human needs. I used them when one of my chickens broke her toe (with a little help from one of the horses) and it sure helped. I've used them for strained ankles and wrists, to help keep a bandaid in place on your hand or foot, and to wrap injuries on dogs. I'll admit that the 3M ones are a bit better quality and tear off easier, but for a fraction of the cost and as much of these as I go through, I'll take these every time.5Great wrapI got these wraps when I had to wrap my toes on a daily basis after a minor surgery. These wraps come in a bunch of fun colors and stick to themselves nicely. They also tear reasonably well when you rip them, although there were a few times I had to use a scissors instead.5Great value and works wellI picked up this brand but was hesitant due to reviews of it not tearing. It will tear just fine, it's a little tougher than some other brands but I found if you pinch the material then tear it works fine. Sticks to itself better than other brands and hasn't popped loose yet. Been using it daily to help cover and manage a PICC line on my arm so I can say I've definitely put it through its paces. I wish they would update the pictures to show the roll round for the different roll sizes as I wasn't sure exactly how many rolls I was getting. For 3" it was 24 rolls.5Use for everythingThis stuff is great! I have used it for both my wrists and ankles. (yes, I am less than graceful.). I always had a tendency to wrap Ace bandages too tight, and have occasionally done so with this. However, the sensiwrap is much more forgiving because of the great amount of stretch there is. And yet, it is still very supportive. I have also used this awesome product for everything from highlighting the color of my luggage handle to wrapping the lids of my shampoo and conditioner while traveling. It holds gauze bandages in place well and has even been used as a temporary hair tie without yanking. While it sticks to itself it does not stick to other objects with any kind of adhesive. And I have also reused the same piece to wrap my wrist three days in a row. (Taking off every day for a shower. And yes, I was completely out and waiting on my order to come in.) All in all, a fantastic product to keep around.5Good price, good functionI needed these for a variety of purposes and found them to be very good. Most recently I used these to hold a urinary catheter bag in place because the bag's regular straps kept slipping around and down, which if you know anything about catheters and bags this is not so good. These wraps worked well in general and especially when showering. The loose end sticks well to the preceding layers of material and it holds up well in the shower (must replace with a new and/or a dry wrap after the shower, of course).I found these were so affordable that I would generally just throw them away after showering because finding a place to hang them to dry was a hassle (didn't want to try them in the washer and dryer because they didn't seem likely to survive). The only reason I deducted a star is that these wraps were not quite as functional as the elasticized wraps that cost more but hold up well in the washing machine and dryer on the delicate settings). These are great additions to store-bought or home-made first-aid kits and the plastic packaging keeps them clean.4Affiordable!Bought a couple of these boxes. Great price, makes changing bandages affordable! My dog had some really bad self mutilation issues due to nerve damage, and this is one of the products we used!Edit* I purchased boxes of this stuff in 2014 for my dog who has since passed. Now, 4 years later I have kept these in my first aid kits in all of our vehicles, in our hiking pack, and I keep some in the house. Just recently I've had to use this on Mac, our doggo we adopted 2 years ago due to a paw pad injury. I will always keep this stuff around! When I received my vet bill after needing a level 1 bandaging on my dog in 2014, I asked my vet to teach me how to do it properly (since I needed to re-bandage it everyday) and there was no way I could afford that every single day.(the sock in the photo is cover for when he goes outside)5Great alternative to Coban for daily use!I like these! Tried them after searching for a cheaper alternative to 3M CobanCompared to Coban:Coban can be reset days later,Dynarex sticks to where you set it initially, but you can't "reuse" it like CobanCoban twists and sticks to itself much more easily, which means it often tangles on itself and turns into stringy bits that dig in to your skin depending on where you're wrapping.Dynarex resists this betterCoban maintains elasticity way longer than Dynarex, at least a few days longer.Dynarex stretches out after 24h and isn't very supportive after a day.IF you wrap using Coban and then cover it with something else so it doesn't rub or move, and then don't remove it for days, it can last much longer than Dynarex (but this is kind of unrealistic). If you are changing daily, then Dynarex is much cheaper! Both have pros and cons, but they seem to "last" the same amount of time (Coban because it twists up and needs to be replaced, Dynarex because it loses tension).4
