Loose, unrepairable/unadjustable legs = dangerAfter 2 different orders, both walkers came in with various degrees of unstable legs. Due to rivet fasteners, impossible to fix by tightening.Instability seems to come from the assembly that holds the fancy release levers.Folks, you buy a walker to enhance your stability. You don't want a device that flops even 2 degrees off it's true line. One of thsee had 12 degrees of play in it's front leg.Find another manufacturer. 1Wrong wheelI like the walker a lot. But it arrived with 2 left wheels. I contacted amazon to have a right wheel sent but they demanded I send the defective product back. Just recovering from hip surgery made that impossible. 1What I like about it is that you can easily ( and ...I am using after ankle surgery due to a non-weight bearing leg. I use it solely in the bathroom. ( after transferring from my knee scooter). What I like about it is that you can easily ( and with one hand) close one side to move it around in the smallish bathroom which helps me transfer to / from the scooter. I also have a regular walker that I can t close easily, and that one is rather cumbersome to move around in the bathroom. Also - even with it partially closed, it is stable enough for me to hold onto while getting onto the scooter ( while being careful - note that I am young-ish and my usable leg is fairly steady). 5Excellent Walker - Wheels Work Good On Carpet And Hard Wood Floors!I got this for my mom when she came home from the hospital. At first she didn't want to use it, but quickly learned that it was the only road to recovery. As it turns out the little extra help worked out and she was walking on her own within a few weeks.The walker is easy to open and fold, and stable enough for inside as well as outdoors. The height adjustment works well. My mom is 5'4" and she was using the next to the lowest setting. Plus, the way she was throwing it around I didn't think it was going to last the weekend, but it's a lot stronger than it looks. It's also one or your more attractive walkers.Al in all, great quality product at a good price. 5Works for meThis was the cheapest walker that I tried and is the one I decided to keep. It is pretty basic looking but that is not really a concern for me. It definitely helps keep me stable while walking. It's a pain to turn corners with this one because the wheels don't swivel, but the trade off is that it is more stable for me to hold onto while rising from a seated position. Ultimately I'd like one with a brake of some sort to make it stationary when needed, but I wasn't able to find a lightweight walker with brakes. 4Too wide for petite!This walker is a bit of tall and definitely too wide for me, I was hard to hang on it. Those slippery plastic things you put your hands on them made it worse. I'm 5ft 2inch and I have a normal size of a shoulder. Even I was little taller It would be same. Maybe if I have a wide shoulder, it'd be ok. This walker frame feels weak, unstable. Every move, the walker's wobbly and shaky. I was very nervous. The body is made of aluminum. I would prefer one more additional crossbar in the bottom of the legs. Pros: lightweight, quick fold. You don't have to lift your hand to press something to fold. 2If you need a walker you are not likely to find one any better. It arrived exactly as describedI'll tell you what. If you need a walker you are not likely to find one any better. It arrived exactly as described. The levers are not brakes but are the quick release to fold the walker flat. This seemed overkill but I gotta say it's very handy and no fumbling for metal levers or buttons. If you have to fold to pack in a car or just to squeeze around an obstackle by partly folding one side part way, it's easy and natural without moving your hands off of the walker. Drive Medical, the manufacturer, seems to totally get what we need in simple assistance products. I am a fan. 5Unsafe hard plastic unridged handrestsEverything about the Walker is good except for one feature...the handrests...They should be rubber and ridged instead they are smooth and hard plastic which causes your hands to easily slide off of them when they are dry (my hand slipped and I fell) and especially when they're wet. ex. when raining. This feature is very dangerous. My previous Drive standard Walker had ridged rubber handrests and this was not an issue. 3She Loves ItMy 94 year old mother really loves this walker. She drives her car well (just got her new license), but has very little strength for walking or lifting. This very light aluminum walker has trigger releases on each side (like pistol handles) for opening and closing it. That's very important because she can't lift a normal walker into her car, and she can't open and close a normal folding walker. This new walker is the best one I have found because it's light enough for her easily put in her car, and she has enought strength to easily close the walker when she puts it in the car, and easily open it when she takes it out of the car. This walker is well made, is attractive, and should last very well. Mother is thrilled with it because it's a big improvement in her life, and it gives her more independence and more self confidence. I recommend it highly. 5PT was very impressed with this walker!This rolling walker was recommended for my husband after knee replacement surgery. His physical therapist was very impressed with the quick-release trigger fiction - she had never seen one like it. It's incredibly easy to fold to put in the trunk of a car, and more importantly, you can quickly and easily fold in either side of the walker - for instance, when passing through a narrow space, such as next to the car in the garage, or through a tight spot in a hallway, etc. It's extremely lightweight to carry, and as an added bonus, it's very attractive! We also purchased the add-on 'skis' - be careful (with this and any other walker) if you have hardwood floors, to occasionally damp-wipe the wheels when coming in from outside, to make sure a tiny rough pebble or dirt doesn't scratch your floors (but of course, the person needing this is more important than the floor!) 5
