Little spicy nuggets of magic.These things are amazing. I run long distances on trails, which can cause all kinds of stomach and joint issues. I originally got these in case of nausea, and for a little bit of sugar mid-run, and discovered that the anti-inflammatory properties of ginger also help with joint pain. They're delicious (especially love the mango and the original), the spiciness gives me an energy boost, and they work like magic. No nausea on long runs, and minimal pain. I won't go out now without a handful of these in my pack, and keep some in my desk as well just for snacking. Highly recommend!5Delicious candy, terrible packaging.Though I d personally rate the Chimes ginger candies as some of my favorite, I recommend seeking another seller. The bag picture is misleading. I got a Tupperware of candies and there was fuzz and hair in the packaging with them!? I m glad they re all individually wrapped... Not impressed.2Best Ginger ChewsI have had these in the past and enjoyed them. Recently, a coworker said his waitress gave him one to try and that brought back that I liked them. Another coworker was talking about taking ginger tea for his digestive health. I ordered this variety with plain, mango, orange, peanut butter and peppermint flavors. They are all good flavors, not overly strong or too weak. Currently eating orange flavor while writing this. The peanut butter was the best.Will definitely recommend to everyone I talk to. Will recommend you try these. Get some to share.5Fantastic, new favoriteI love ginger candies and I've tried many different brands. I bought this variety pack so I could try all the Chimes flavors, after discovering this brand at a health food store and paying over 6 dollars for a tiny bag, this 1lb bag is a huge bargain in terms of price.The candies arrived fast, in a plain plastic bag inside a plain cardboard box, so it's a "bulk" configuration. All the candies are individually wrapped, but not in any type of packaging beyond that.They were extremely fresh and chewy on arrival, not hard at all. There are five flavors in my bag:1. Orginal (ginger flavor, still my favorite, I will probably just buy this flavor in the future)2. Mango : very nice and subtle mango flavor3. Peanut: a good flavor if you like peanut butter, but the ginger flavor was almost completely masked. As a result, the candy had a bit of a spicy undertone, almost like a tangy butterfinger. Tasty, but not really a ginger flavor.4. Orange: like the mango, this one was subtle and a nice orange/ginger flavor5. Peppermint: This was the absolute dog of the bunch. Just disgusting,a toothpaste flavor and texture. I am keeping them only because they will probably work well as a breath freshener when you have nothing else (like in a restaurant after eating onions or something) but otherwise they are horrible and I would not eat them for pleasure.So that's my review. I hope you try these-- I wish there was a way to just get the fruit flavors and the original in a bulk mix, but this configuration is a great way to try all the flavors and see if you like them.4Amazing, kind of heavy on one type, howeverI LOVE this variety pack! However, a little sad that my second favorite, mango, had the least amount in the bag. Every flavor is good, though, and I can't say I'm disappointed at all. Peppermint is very unique, and orange is great as well. Original is a nice, spicy, pure ginger chew. Mango is sweet-soft with a mild gingery tang. Peanut Butter is just amazing. It even has little pieces of peanuts in it! As another reviewer mentioned, it's ALMOST like a thai peanut sauce, however I find it to be much sweeter and more delicious! I can't imagine people who hate peanut butter!5Great for pregnancy and motion sicknessWe took these on a whale watching trip. I usually get sea sick, but I kept sucking these the whole time and I was fine. The flavors weren t bad either. I was able to keep eating them all day and having the variety of flavors kept me from getting sick of them. I also used these candies when I was pregnant. No medicine seemed to help with the morning sickness these were the only things I noticed made a difference. I d highly recommend them to anyone who is prone to nausea.5Just Add Ribbon.Delicious, delightful, delovely, zesty good-chew ginger Chimes, in assorted flavors, though mango seems to be the favorite; what more can I gush? Well, turns out Black Tie Mercantile (possibly a unit of Amazon), the seller of these, deploys its merch in charming black boxes in a tuxedo-penguin motif. But that's not all. Inside, is a coaster, imprinted with nerdy trivia, in this case: the Washington state hemlock ... a deeply rooted tree that can live on, to more than a thousand years! And a gracious thank you for choosing their product among all the choices out there! How sweet is that? Just add ribbon.5WeaksauceFairly weak for ginger chews, and very sweet. These are probably a good introduction to ginger sweets for the uninitiated planning to head down the dark path of ginger abuse, but are lacking for a seasoned ginger veteran - this is canada dry or at most vernor's, not bundaberg, and certainly not fever tree. The texture is very good, though, and they are very easy to remove from the package (those complaining about how hard they are to get out of the wrapper have clearly never tried the alternative paper packaged products or have trouble peeling a banana). That said, except for the peppermint, the flavors are very tasty (but sorely lacking in ginger kick). The peppermint flavor is a crime against humanity.3Tasted good but taking out of the wrapper was an excercise!!I tried the original flavor and I liked the taste. Plus Ginger is amazing for body.I saw a variety pack and thought it would be better than the original one. Unfortunately this turned out to be a disappointment. The product came in a plastic bag with variety of options. except the peanut butter everything was okay but the candies started melting and it was really hard to take it off from the wrapper. I would just go for a different brand next time than struggling with this one.2Great variety of flavors!These all taste amazing! My batch of Chimes came in perfectly fresh and nicely assorted. I like that the spicyness varies between flavors a bit. The mango is nice and spicy, the flavor reminded me of a Mtn Dew Mango Heat! And the peanut butter was much more mild, I'm usually not a big fan of peanut butter in general but the PB chimes are delicious. I read other reviews about getting an unbalanced variety, so I was worried until I opened my package and saw that there was plenty of each flavor (pic attached, minus a mango and orange that I already ate). I did a quick count after eating a couple and there was just over 100 pieces, that's gonna last me a good while! Well, maybe... they're pretty addicting. Peppermint was probably my least favorite, so luckily I had much less of that flavor. It's not too terrible but I'll probably save them as a mouth freshener. These Chimes actually did a good job in getting rid of my nausea and it was fun to try each flavor. I'll definitely order from here again when I need more!5
