BEST Ginger Tea Ever!My mistake, I thought the sachets were larger. These are teacup sizes not the mug portion size like my last order. Have to watch for the size on the box. The bigger sachet packets are in the red box! This box of the smaller ones are in blue.But this is the BEST Ginger tea I have ever drank. Mixes instantly with hot or cold water and no lumps left floating around your tea.I love it hot with a little lemon added.Think you may be coming down with the flu, nauseated? Drink a few cups of this! It has been a God sent relief for me a few times. Look up the benefits of Ginger, you may be very impressed.5Changed package size This used to be my favorite ginger tea, the best ever. I drank this stuff 2 and 3 times a day and was completely off coffee. Then for some reason, they reduced the sachet size from 0.74g to 0.56g!!!!!! WHYYYYYYY!!! I have tried using a packet and a half ( not strong enough) to three packages (way too strong) and everything in between to no avail. I am so disappointed! I found a local store that had the old orange packaging and bought them all! I'm not sure what I'm going to do when that stock pile is gone..... Sad!3Terrible product - something seriously wrong with thisPackage came smashed when I pulled it from the Amazon wrapping. Once I got the Amazon wrapping opened there was powder all over the place that came out and very tiny bugs were in the powder which made me think they were in the box long before the shipment anyway. It didn't smell too good either. I think this product was very old or had been sitting on a shelf for quite some time. No checked it that's for sure. I didn't bother to send it back because I ran outside the house with it and threw it in the garbage can. unbelievable that's for sure.1and it was excellent! Very strongI bought this product previously in a store, I think WalMart, and it was excellent! Very strong! BUT, when I bought this on Amazon, it was VERY WEAK. Not worth drinking!The product must either be too old, or their quality is variable. Again, same exact product, bought previously in store and was excellent, very strong! Bought this off Amazon, very weak!!1Like plain hot boiling water.From all the gingers I've drunk, this one is VERY weak. If you try to squeeze every bit of essence from it, the bag will explode. I have to use two bags to get a decent ginger brew for my digestion. I bought it for two dollars so, it was OK. But don't bother guys. I would recommend you Celestial Seasonings Lemon Ginger - strong Ginger at a good price. Now if you can afford a little more and want a deep spicy ginger tea (for digestion issues) try Alvita Ginger Root - you can make a 20oz cup and still be strong. But this one is no bueno.1veggies and greens like bok choyI use lemon grass tea bags to make lemon grass soup. I place a few bags in the soup while I am cooking the broth along with the garlic, onion, ginger, veggies and greens like bok choy, spinach or kale. After soup is ready, I remove the tea bags. I plan to use this particular brand to make the soup, but have not done so yet.Something I have noticed about this brand that is different from the other brand I am used to buying from my grocer is that these leaves are finely ground, like powder fine......bit of powder comes loose in the box it came in. So I wonder how this will work with the soup, will the powder seep out. I love the flavor that lemon grass imparts on the soup, not sure that I want actual powder in the soup itself....but maybe it will be fine! My box does smell nicely of lemon grass, as it should. The other brands I have bought before have chopped lemon grass leaves, rather than powdered, and the leaves stay contained in the tea bag through out the process, for easy removal, which is what I prefer. Another method would to just put the leaves in whole and remove whole, but I cannot easily find whole lemon grass at every grocery where I live which is why I opt for the tea bags.4Would like to give it 10 stars!If I could give this more than five stars I would! I had stomach surgery 4 1/2 years ago and I have never stopped having a stomach ache since. I ordered a box of this last week and it works amazing on my stomach and I'm able to sleep through the night when I drink it. Ended up giving that box to my niece to try to help her with her morning sickness so I ordered this box received it today and I ordered another box so that I wouldn't run out too soon. I hope Amazon keeps carrying this tea!5Tastes like air. Drink water instead.I saw that this tea had great reviews and it was cheaply priced so I thought I'd give it a try but it is the worst tea I've ever had next to a tea that appeared to simply be dried grass trimmings. There is definitely something inside the tea bags but that something has no flavor whatsoever. I gave them to a friend thinking maybe I was missing something but she said the same thing. The tea didn't even change the color of the water. Perhaps I got a bad batch or a very expired product by mistake but whatever the case it was an awful waste of $. I wouldn't take the risk on buying this product.1Great product, poor packagingIn terms of taste, this product is PERFECT! it reminds me of being back home in the Islands. The only issue I have is the fact that only 9 of the 24 tea bags were in tack. They were busted open and all the sorrel was inside the box. Better inspection is needed before these items are shipped. I didn't even bother to send it back because of the price paid but it is unfortunate. I've added pictures below.3Product not as advertisedI ordered the tea with the Jamaican Flag that says product of Jamaica on the box, the label has 4 total carbs and 5 grams of fiber and says no sugar added. I drink it on my low Carb eating plan. The one sent did not have the flag and had total carbs of 5 with 0 grams of fiber, the box says unsweetened. This should have been next day delivery. Took 3 to 4 days to get. They had to find a product to send thinking I would not know the difference. I could not send this product back it said not returnable. It's a good thing I only ordered two boxes. Upset the company didn't bother to contact me to see if I wanted a replacement. Very disappointed!1
