Finally a Peanut Free Granola Bar OptionSince I became allergic to peanuts, I've had to all but give up granola bars. I was so excited when I came across these. Though they are made on machines that process tree nut products, they are peanut-free, which is a major selling point for anyone with this allergy.They're pretty delicious, though the texture is a bit odd. It's kind of like how suede feels compared to leather, but not because those are textiles, not food. But the texture isn't too off-putting, and the taste is good enough to make me want to get them again. So I guess it's just something I will definitely have to get used to if I want granola bars.4Should be called barely chocolate I don t know how they justify double chocolate in the name. There are literally only chips pressed into one side of the bars; the chips are not even mixed into the entire bar. Very disappointing to buy double chocolate and see only about 10 chips on each bar.2Happy Preschooler!My child has a gluten sensitivity and it has been hard to find GF prepackaged snacks that are accepted (since most are pretty crunchy) and are still affordable. These are amazing! They have been a big hit. Lots of chocolate chips :)5I wanted to like these, but I don't (nutrition info added)I wanted to like these, but I don't. There is a warning at the bottom saying CONTAINS MILK AND COCONUT INGREDIENTS, for those of you with either allergies. Hopefully people used to buying these can catch the warning in time. They are EXTREMELY CHEWY -- they are not hard and crispy, but they are not soft and gooey either. They are a hard/chewy texture and are a real workout for your teeth, very satisfying.I live right here near the company - but you just cannot find the Oatmeal Raisin ones anywhere except Amazon. The local stores all have shelves full of the other flavors but never the oatmeal raisin --- no idea why that is. The price is higher on Amazon (even before the shipping) - so I wish I could find these locally.5Perfect for kids with corn allergies99% of granola bars have high fructose corn syrup. My son is allergic to corn syrup. He's mainly non-verbal but absolutely loves these and will ask for them by name! We have a subscription and buy a case at a time!5
