Saved my Dogs life!I give this product to all my horses & dogs & it is a fantastic product! My 13 yr old Boxer had very bad Arthritis that made her bed-ridden when she was 9 yrs old. I was told to put her down at 10 yrs old because she was in pain & could hardly walk from the bedroom to the family room :-( I started her on this brand of MSM & by then end of the week she was up moving around more & after an 2... She was up running & playing like a puppy again. My vet couldn't believe it as he's been our vet for 22 yrs & had seen our Boxer from day 1. He now passes our story on to his patients! I tried other brands but this is the ONLY brand that worked this good!!! My horses are in amazing shape as I give them a little everyday too! We had tried Laser Thereapy, acupuncture, pain meds, physical therapy, water treatment... Nothing worked! But THIS MSM! Our Boxer lived 4 more yrs., pain free. She passed away from old age of 14.5Stiff knee joint, etc. no more!I bought this for my own personal use... mainly to alleviate sore/stiffness in my left knee from a injury sustained many years ago. Each day I take 2/3 to 3/4 teaspoon total of this pure MSM powder and it works very effective. Not only is my knee feeling a lot better... but my lower back, shoulder joint, etc. are much more loose, free feeling and relaxed too.5Works great.This MSM works better than any other msm powder I've tried. I use it daily even though it's prescribed for horses. It's still 100% pure msm powder and its cheaper than the msm for humans. Why pay more when you can get a better quality (IMO) product for less. Its helps tremendously in taking away the osteoarthritis pain in my right knee and also helps to alleviate the chronic back pain I've suffered from for years. I will purchase again.5This stuff is AWESOME!I would give it 10 stars if possible. This stuff is the closest thing to a miracle I've come across. This two legged animal has been using this for over a year. If you are wondering 5lbs lasted me about a year on 1 teaspoon twice a day. Like others suggested, I mix this with tart juice because Vit. C seems to enhance absorption. Gotta stir like crazy for a minute or so to get this to dissolve, but it does eventually settle into solution. It mixes in water, but the taste isn't too pleasant, but is doable. The R.W. Knudsen Morning Blend juice seems to work particularly well with this, actually the MSM seems to improve the taste and it is also pretty good in cranberry, orange, cherry and somewhat tolerable in pineapple, but terrible in grape. When I started taking MSM in hopes of relieving tendonitis pain caused by taking fluoroquinolone antibiotics, I noticed relief in less than a week. Look it up... Levaquin, Cipro and Avelox is injuring many people. I then found the book "The Miracle of MSM" by Dr. Stanley Jacobs which suggests many other uses for MSM including relief of several autoimmune illnesses. Dr. Jacobs writes of others with scleroderma going into remission after taking MSM for awhile, so I thought I better keep taking this. I feel much better taking it and do not have as many symptoms.I also noticed after about 3 months of daily use various scars started softening and disappearing. The scar left from a mole being removed from face over 14 years ago all but vanished. I have to look real hard in the mirror to even see it, yet the dermatologist told me that it would leave a lifelong scar. Two scars on hand and arm have vanished since then and three more scars on arms have significantly softened, one was a rather nasty looking keloid. Dr. Jacobs suggests in his book to buy the commercially made MSM lotion then take another teaspoon of MSM powder, ground in a coffee grinder, and mix into the lotion for a strong topical application for helping with skin issues. The book is chock full of stories of how MSM helped people with an assortment of health issues.Another use I have found for AniMed MSM powder following another "recipe" in the book is take a nasal rinse pump bottle, fill with 1 ounce of filtered water, mix in a tad less than 1 teaspoon of MSM powder, shake vigorously for several minutes, then 1-2 squirts in each nostril will relieve congestion and allergy symptoms. It stings a little, but not too bad. This solution helped me survive Spring pollen season. After using this I will never buy the prescription or store bought nasal sprays again. BTW- you can buy clean, empty nasal pump spray bottles here on Amazon in plastic and glass under the brand name "Snoot" and very inexpensively too.The first 5lb container was hard to open, but after I figured out how to push the tabs in and turn lid I like that design better than the new design my second container has just arrived with. I do not like the new lid as much nor that it doesn't have a handle like the previous bucket did. Something I was concerned about when I first purchased this was what form of MSM is this? So I contacted the AniMed company and they told me this is indeed the distilled version of MSM. Distilled is considered much safer than the Chinese made crystallized form. This stuff is 100% pure and doesn't have fillers like the companies that sell much smaller and more expensive bottles geared towards human consumers. I plan on continuing to use this product indefinitely.5Energy. Clear Lungs. Clear Head. Strong pulse.Started with 1/4 TSP x 2 daily.Over 2 weeks worked up to 1.5 TSP x 2 daily.Bonus Idea:When drinking from a glass, the crystals settle on bottom, therefore, the less bitter water is on top and the "Bitter End" is at bottom of the glass, thus making "bottoms up" a bit difficult.Bonus: Drink with straw and the bitterness crystals washes down First and Faster ...and then remaining water (less bitter) washes down the bitterness.Drink on empty stomach and make sure you have plenty of Vitamin C in your system.5Awesome supplement for my older horses!I have been using this supplement with my horses that are older. When my horses hit about 22 they tend to get arthritis, so I put them on this supplement daily. I have had two horses that lived to be 32 and 38 years of age. They were both sound as a dollar as long as they got this supplement daily. I really believe in this supplement for my horses, as well as myself. It has no adverse side effects, and any pain that you have in your joints and connective tissues goes away!5MSM for chelation...Yes, this is for horses but in our home, the 2 legged variety of animal utilizes MSM, along with our dogs. Many do not realize that MSM is a fantastic Chelator and will help to rid the body of heavy metals along with helping to control the pain and inflammation of arthritis. Just to be clear, I am not a doctor, I am just someone who has managed to beat Breast Cancer completely naturally and is totally holistic. MSM is a great supplement for anyone's diet, however, everyone should do their own research and consult their Naturopath before starting any supplement routine. Of all MSM Supplements, I have found the AniMed Pure MSM to be the most pure and effective on the market. It is also so much cheaper than buying it in tiny capsules. This is also a great supplement to add to your dogs water. It helps to relieve joint issues and the dogs don't mind the taste. If you are unsure if MSM will help you, I encourage you to research its benefits, you may be surprised. Just a bit of advice....start slowly and work your way up and give it a few weeks before judging. As with all supplements, it takes a few weeks before you see improvement.5Same as Health Food store but lot less expensive!Read It s the Liver, Stupid! It s on Kindle and you won t belive the healing in MSM and DMSO. Good for everything that ails you! I m so excited to learn this but wish I had read it sooner. There are several other books about the subjects, too, but this one also goes into the importance of cleaning the liver with MSM. I made a bad move during bowling release and tore my interior knee abductor in March. Next day couldn t walk without severe pain, 10 days to see a doctor, X-rays, cortisone shot which didn t help much. Doctor said it might heal but never be the same. After insurance I still owe $1700 and have had pain and soreness and limped until September when I began taking this product along with the Now Whey Protein. In a week of a tsp. twice a day the pain stopped and so did the limp. I ve increased the dosage and getting better every week. If you do this, take MSM powder straight into your mouth, chew up the crystals to mix with saliva, take a sip of water with lemon juice, swish for s couple minutes, swallow and drink more water. Don t mix in water! It s horrible tasting! If your pain is lessened you ll be happy to take more. I bought 5 lb and gave at least 1/2 of it away to friends in pain and they experienced relief for first time without drugs. 5Works great on MY joints too!I got this for myself after my daughter told me how much it helps her horse. Naturally I take a lot less than a horse (!) so it lasts about 5 months. I can feel the difference when I stop taking it, so now I'm a believer. There is a time frame for it to build up, but for me I could feel less stiffness in my joints within a week or so. It is bitter, so I mix it in fruit juice. Works well and is a LOT better priced than glucosamine from the drug store!5Great product, great price. Safe for horses and safe for you!I bought this because I'm taking quite a lot of msm and it was getting expensive. This product is very effective. It doesn't dissolve as well as the finer powders. I have to let it sit in the water for about twenty minutes to fully dissolve the particles.I do get the energy burst from it and have little detox symptoms. It doesn't give you a headache like some do. Of course I could up the dosage and see what happens. I'm taking three tablespoons daily now. It really helps to absorb vitamins and increase the oxygen flow.I have used to it to kill fungus on my seedlings and it works great. It kills fungus on contact as a topical spray. I will be using it this summer to treat for powdery mildew on my squash plants etc. it's cheap enough to use for yourself and for the garden. It can be sprinkled on the soil as well to treat root fungus.4
