Does not taste the same.I have purchased this product on many occasions and was satisfied with my order. But on this particular order, the product came in a different bag that was clear and not like the bag that is displayed on Amazon. When I opened the product and consumed it, it did not taste like the product that I have purchased in the past. They were harder than the past product and did not taste fresh like the ones in the red and white bag. It will definitely be hard for me to purchase this product again because I don't know if I will get the ones in the red and white bag, or the stale ones in the clear bag. 1ALBANESE IS THE BESTAs a repeat consumer of Albanese gummi candy, I couldn't pass up on the purchase price of less than $20 for (2) bags of assorted fruit flavors. That's 5 lbs. each, equaling 10 lbs. in total. However, the product received is not exactly as pictured. The picture shows the 6-flavor variety of gummi bears. What arrived is the 12-flavor variety. It's all good though, so I won't be sending it back. 5Worlds BestOMG, OMG, OMG...these are the absolute best D*** gummy bears I've ever eaten (yeah I know...personal preference and to each his/her own...but this is my review, so...). I found a small bag of these at an electronic chain store and was sucked in by the clever marketing statement "WORLDS BEST"...Yeah right...have been hooked ever since (hence the 2-5lb bags).These don't have the "biting into galvanized rubber" feel that Haribo have, so if you are into those specifically for that chew, chew, chew, chew, "chewiness"...don't get these. These have a perfect bite...has resistance, and mouthfeel...nothing like the Jello-esque feel of some of the off brands. Taste wise, there is no comparison, 12 rich and discernible flavors. Not to mention the cutest faces of any gummy bear (so says my daughter)Delicious product! 5I have a new favorite gummi candy!Wow, these are awesome gummi bears! They are fresh, nice and soft and super flavorful. The flavor really pops and they are incredibly delicious. We even prefer them over the very popular German brand. They have 12 flavors in this assortment. They are Cherry, Pink Grapefruit, Watermelon, Strawberry, Orange, Blue Raspberry, Lime, Grape, Green Apple, Mango, Pineapple & Lemon. If I had to pick one as my favorite it would be pineapple, but they are all really tasty and delicious.Pros:Great assertive fruity flavorsTastySoft, chewy textureCons:When the bag is empty. Boo! 5Great gummies, but a little soft for meWhat makes a great gummy bear is in the mouth of the beholder, of course. Some like the chewy Haribo type that give your jaws a workout, while others like the softer, mushier kind. This falls into the latter category.Out of the bag, they're extremely soft. If you want to keep them that way, put them immediately into an airtight container. But if you'd like them to harden up a little, leave them exposed to air.I do like the intensity of the flavors. While the product title says "fat free", this is NOT a diet food. Eating just 12 gummy bears (and who can eat just 12) take up 10% of your daily recommended carbohydrates. So if you're like me, and can easily go through 50 of them in one sitting, that's half of your daily intake, which you will need to burn off through running, biking, walking, swimming, and other physical activity, or it'll turn into fat in your system. 4Very good gummies.Let me start by saying that I also believe a lot of these 5 star reviews have been planted by the company. I do not work for or have any connection to Albanese. I love gummie candies and have tried the Albanese worms before and liked them. I decided to give these a try and I am happy I did. They arrived fresh and well packaged. There are 12 different flavors and the gummies are soft and not too chewy. A few reviews said all of the flavors taste the same but I don't agree with this. I found that each flavor was different even though it might not taste like what the flavor claims to be. As far as chemical or soapy taste, I have not experienced either one of these. Maybe it is possible there have been bad batches or something like that, I am not sure. Also, two 5-lb bags is a lot of gummie bears so I see these lasting for some time. I store them in an airtight container so they won't go stale. I will probably buy these again when I run out and reccomend these to anyone who likes gummies. 5THE BEST Gummy Bears EverThese are the best gummy bears ever. Everyone we share them with thinks they are awesome. There are 12 flavors that all taste wonderfully distinct. They are softer and moister than most gummy bears. We have ordered the regular size and the extra small size. We like the extra small size best. They are about 1/3 the size of a regular gummy bear. We have ordered these several times. They are a favorite with all ages. 5Delicious and oh so softThese are our favorite gummy bears now - so glad we stumbled across this brand. My one complaint about other gummies is their "tear the teeth out of your head" chewiness. These have a lovely softness and mild chewiness, which I LOVE. However, my family is just nuts over their flavors - some, like grapefruit, quite unusual. Overall, these are addictive. 5Exceptional GummiesI go on Gummy kicks and recently I had some Brach's Wild n Fruity that left me wanting more. Instead of buying those tiny useless bags at the store I decided to see what Amazon had for large bags. Which in turn led me on a search of various Gummy products trying to find something new, something great, something that had great flavor.... The Albanese might not be quite as soft as Brach's but they're every bit as flavorful. Not to mention the fact there's several more flavors. The flavor of the Albanese gummies are good. I'd hate to say strong, to me strong would mean overpowering but they have a very distinct flavor which you can taste. These certainly aren't bland gummies. They're not the softest gummies I've ever had but they are soft. Also very addictive. One 5 lb bag was demolished w/in 3 nights. I can't really say anything more than what's been said. They are soft but not the softest. the flavors are great & if not the best easily among the best. simply put these are excellent gummy bears that are definitely worth trying. I'm glad I took a gamble on these and will definitely continue to buy them. 5You may turn into a gummy bearDo not order these. They can only be consumed in large quantities. You may develop carpal tunnel syndrome from the repetitive motion of bringing them to your mouth! ;} Beware!Some people assert that gelatin is a good health supplement. I am trying to convince myself this is true to rationalize my chain-eating of these things. Also trying not to think about where they come from...As other people said, these are way better than those nasty little chew toy gummies that I used to think were kinda good a few at a time, every once in a while. Therein lies the problem. These ones have crazy different flavors to keep your mind entertained and soft chewiness that keeps your mouth occupied with disassembling them. Crazy!You are receiving ten frigging pounds of gummy trouble!!!! Bask in the sick guilty consumptive pleasure of it all!!!! 5
