True hospital quality compression wraps for an incredible low price.I couldn't believe the quality of these self adhering wraps considering the low price. They are exactly the same as the ones used at the hospital wound care center. You can get correct compression without having them unwrap and sliding down your leg like an Ace type bandage. 5A good price for a good product.The 3M Coban self adherent wrap is the key element to making the Unna boot work for me. Coban is the compression part of an Unna boot compression bandage. It covers the wet freshly applied Unna boot wrap safely and completely, with no leakage of moisture through it. Applied properly, it gives just the right amount of compression to help move fluid out of the lower legs. This was a good price for a good product. 5My hospital used a different formulation(?) & size, just something to look out for if you expect the exact same productCoban is amazing stuff. However, this particular iteration of it is different from that which I obtained at a recent hospital stay. The hospital Coban was 3" wide (this is 4", I should have measured prior to order) and the hospital coban ripped very cleanly and in a neat line. This Coban in comparison rips with great difficulty, so much so that I need to use scissors to get a straight edge. I suspect that either the materials are different, or the age of product is different.Just a FYI. This product seems to hold as well as the "hospital coban". 43M Self-Adhesive WrapProduct sticks well to itself. I use it with gauze wrap to wrap a foot that is twisted to protect the ankle bone. Easy to use. 5Works great except for a couple of flawsI wish I could tear it. Instead, it must be cut with scissors. Also, it's hard to pull the bandage off of a fresh roll and since there is adhesive, the beginning of the roll can adhere to the underlying layers making it impossible to access the bandage. Once the beginning of the roll sticks to the underlying layers, you can't even see where the roll begins any more. Once you get it started, and use your scissors, the product works great. Great adhesion. 33M Wrap......It Just WorksThis product is a real no brainer. If you need a self adherent wrap it is pretty much the benchmark item. Regardless of the specific use,(wound care, sports wrap, etc ), this works well. There are some lesser expensive products out there but I have always had issues with them. The two most common negatives with bargain brands are that they either don't offer any compression or that they don't stay in place/together well. The 3M product does both of those things quite well. It's good stuff, what else can I say. There are a few super premium brands out there, but in my experience they are only slightly better and cost as much as double. 4Great WrapCoban is one of the great inventions in first aid and bandages. 3M just puts out such innovative products. There are "knockoffs" out there but they are just not as good. Spend the money and get the real thing. 53M Corban 4" self-adherent wrapSame quality 3M Corban 4" self-adherent wrap that you'll pay twice as much per roll for at a brick and mortar Hospital and Health Care Supply store. If this is something you use on an ongoing basis - this is a good way to same some money on medical supplies. 5Does the jobMy PT uses this product and recommended it to me for support and compression following a hamstring injury. It works well to provide these two things seems to he helping my recovery. It is a bit expensive and you have to be careful using it so that it does not get stuck to itself as you unroll it. Overall it seems to do exactly what it is supposed to do 5Hospital uses itThe hospital uses it so I use it and I like it ,it s a one time deal ,but it works nice. 5
